章節 271: Wedding Gifts

After the fiery session in literal terms, Zyair cooked Skyla's favourite pasta and fed her with his own hands. 

"Is it good?" Zyair inquired, giving her another forkful. 

"Mhmm!" She mumbled while accepting more pasta from him. She seemed composed now.

He still couldn't believe that asshole made Skyla sleep on that divan the entirety of their marriage. Zyair also wondered what other atrocities he must have vetted out on her, the brutalities she didn't even voice, even with him.

Her mood seemed to have been lifted after a full belly meal.

"Are you ready to open the gifts?" Zyair asked, guiding her back to their bedroom. It was loaded with gifts of all sizes and colours. 

A few of them had been opened by Zyair's security team, the ones that didn't belong to their closed ones. 

Skyla cast a wary glance at the piles of gifts but she knew she had to be braver than this. Doran had rattled her once again, she needed to do better.
