The moment he kissed her and pulled her into himself, letting his heat seep into her body, Skyla woke up.

How much she had longed to finally sleep in his arms and now that she was comfortably nestled in them, she couldn't help but snuggle into his touch.

This was haven, her haven and he was her saviour. Without his support and push, she would have never been able to escape the clutches of that evil man.

Skyla turned in his hold so she could face him. Not wanting the opportunity to pass of seeing his face again. She didn't feel like sleeping anymore.

Sleeping meant morning and morning meant he would be departing and hiding that aesthetically gorgeous face again. She hadn't gotten enough of it, she could never get enough of him.

Zyair was slightly surprised to find her awake, as her soft hands arrested his face and her thumb stroked the scar on his chin.
