Skyla was a tad apprehensive about going to the office the next day. What if she had said something embarrassing to her boss?

So she decided to check with Lawrence. She had baked cookies for him as well and would hand them over.

Knocking on his door she entered with his permission. Lawrence was busy working on his computer.

"Good morning! Lawrence," she greeted, stepping closer to his desk, she noticed his hair and was bemused. He had cut off his dreadlocks.

"Nice haircut," she added.

"Good morning! Miss Skyla. How are you? Yes, I got tired of them, I wanted a 'temple fade', it's so 'in' these days." His hand rubbed the shaven sides of his head.

"Looks nice." She gave him a thumbs up and placed the cookie jar she had brought for him. Seeing it, he jumped out of his seat and snatched the jar off the table and into his embrace.
