Zyair changed into a comfy T-shirt and trousers for the night. He had planned to return to his apartment for the night but seeing his mother's expectant eyes he decided to stay with her for a few more days.

Lawrence had gone home after dinner and a few more raucous verbal fights with Bitu. While Zyair stayed with his mom talking and telling her about his day.

"I hired a new secretary," he told her as both of them sat by the fireplace and sipped on cardamom tea. Bitu was perched on his shoulder.

"Oh! Good, what's his name?" his mom asked, picking her cup from the pitcher and taking a sip.

"She and her name is Skyla," he took a small swig and his mother spit out the tea she had just taken. He quickly grabbed a tissue from the tissue box and handed it over to her.

"Are you alright?" he asked with concern as Meena wiped her face and turned her head to gaze at her son with surprise written in bold letters on it.
