"Please come in; I will take you to find Miko," the guard sighed, a hint of melancholy in his tone. He made an inviting gesture, turned around, and led the way. Uchiha Natsu followed silently, and the other three followed suit without uttering a word.
The capital of the ghost country wasn't very large, giving off a smaller vibe compared to Konoha. Passing through several layers of streets, a high wall loomed ahead, and they glimpsed through the central door to find a forest behind the wall. The guard leading the way communicated with the guard on the high wall, and after smooth clearance, they entered the vast forest inside the wall, enveloping the capital like a ring.
Navigating through the forest, they eventually reached a palace with a slightly retro architectural style, guarded by numerous soldiers armed with bows and arrows. After undergoing identity checks, the four Uchiha Natsu finally arrived at the main hall.
Through the open door, they saw the priestess, adorned with a golden crown, seated on the last square platform. On both sides of the main hall, ministers knelt opposite each other, and Miroku, the Miko, had been eagerly awaiting their arrival.
Acknowledging the announcement of Konoha's support from a communication soldier, Miroku, maintaining the dignity of Miko in front of her subordinates, patiently waited for the guards to usher Uchiha Natsu and others in. Uchiha Natsu stepped forward, bowing and saluting, emphasizing the long-standing alliance between Konoha and the Land of Demons.
"The Land of Demons is our long-standing ally. Now that you are in trouble, we have come to help," Uchiha Natsu conveyed diplomatically. The polite words exchanged set the stage for the crucial information they sought.
"Miko, please explain the current situation to us," Uchiha Natsu requested. Shino, with a slight dimming of his eyes, began detailing the dire situation—four ninjas empowered by sprites had united to unleash a ghost army, aiming to rule the world. These empowered ninjas, now attacking neighboring countries, posed a significant threat.
Miroku explained the unique bond between miko and Ghosts, emphasizing the need for the priestess to prevent the spirits from breaking their seal. The four empowered ninjas were leading the assault on the ghost country, leaving half the territory in ruin.
Uchiha Natsu, considering the economic importance of the Land of Demons to the Land of Fire, pledged to protect Miroku's safety. His interest in the abilities of the empowered ninjas, particularly, the mystery surrounding Miroku's daughter, Shion, added complexity to the mission.
Upon expressing their commitment to the Land of Demons, Miroku glanced outside the hall and hesitantly asked, "Then, Mr. Ninja, how many ninjas from the Land of Fire have come to support?"
