寫檢討i would have enjoyed it if it had not been too slow.. fifty chapters and mc has only advanced from qi refining 3 to qi refining 4.5.. on the path of Alchemy , he can only refine 1 lowest level pill, and is trying to gain proficiency in other similarly lowest level pill for the past 50 chapters ... its too slow and barely crawling .. .
Nice slow pace at start. Really emphasizes on the lower level struggles and economy much better than the generic xianxia novels. Someone wanting an mc who slowly grows powerful and has side characters with their own agendas and with a decent head can absolutely enjoy this! It's severely underrated in my humble opinion!
Really well done, usually when I read sections about alchemy I skip past it cause they always include garbage details which nobody asked for. But this book was an unexpected surprise, even though is slow paced the story was really well done. The system is not too over the top and is helpful in the sstory development. All in all great and I can’t wait for new updates.
read all chapters from qidian and this novel is extremly average, there is no good point or bad ones . 600 chapters and so far nothing realy much happened that is interesting, usual cultivation system (qi ,fundation, pill, soul, god,) charaters are bland and not worth remembering and excep a few cultivation nonsense that could be some Taoist philospy there are nothing worth remmembering in this story. if you have read a xianxia with profiency that means you have read 95% of this novel.
What the novel is really about: 1- Low talent MC has a proficiency system, as a loose cultivator he has to hustle to get his pills, cultivation skills and resources are very heavily restricted by the great sects, they hold an tight oligopoly over techniques, recipes, businesses and real estate, leaving the loose cultivators to live in the cracks. 2- MC is calm, quite thick skinned, business minded and tries to avoid risks, he is not a saint, but still has a conscience and tries to make sincere friends when possible. (Quite sociable MC all things considered) 3- The pacing is quite slow, even 80 chapters in he is still not that strong and has to rely on help from others to keep himself safe, he also doesn't have many trump cards nor anything that can be called heaven defying by any means, just a slow grind into an alchemists which has to go from day to day working hard, avoiding offending people and trying not to die by reaching the end of his lifespan. To me this was an interesting yet frustrating read, you see the potential of his cheat but never see it grow to the point where he can finally have it easy so far, in fact I suspect that might never come... (Could be wrong but the pacing and focus of the story is on the day to day struggles of the MC and how the world events affect him directly) Characters are interesting, everywhere you see the people struggling to live in this very hierarchical cultivation world, huddling together into small communities and many colorful people that show up with different ways of achieving immortality as loose cultivators. The world so far is a bit too small due to the MC not going many places, you only know basically a small region with some sects in it, some of the rules of society and and overarching conflicts with the demons (magic beasts) in the mountains (don't know how long it will take to go anywhere else at this rate, author might lose his drive before that happens)
is the mc really from this world he doesn't consider basic things when doing things. The MC is either one of those idiot bots that exist online or is just too much of an idiot to understand things properly.
20 chapters in review. This novel is a slow one. after 20 chapters, MC is able to consistently refine a new pill 1 out of 10 times and considerably improved his combat power. Honestly I kinda enjoyed it, but I would never spend the money or time to read such a slow progressing plot. it would take at least a month of daily sign ins for any real change to happen.
Finally a good cultivation novel,no op mc,no gigantic harem, good story,mc slowly climbs the cultivation stages,no op cheats, cheat has infinite potential, just great overall, this ignited the passion I held for cultivation novels but lost it because of mediocre or subpar novels.Thank you.Keep up the good work.
