Su Pan'er returned to her room, saw that Ke'er was still deep in sleep, and went out again.

The sun had already risen overhead. She took a full round, picked a bunch of wild vegetables and dug more than a dozen bamboo shoots, before she returned.

Ke'er had woken up, and Qin Yi and his elders were all sitting around him, chatting animatedly. Seeing Su Pan'er return, Su Ke's eyes lit up, and he quickly waved at her.

"Fourth sister, fourth sister! Come over and sit here."

Following his words, Su Pan'er approached: "Ke'er, have you just woken up? How do you feel? Have you taken the medicine?"

She felt Ke'er's forehead; his temperature was normal, the high fever had already receded.

Mrs. Su-Hua smiled brightly: "The medicine was already drunk after it was cooled down. He's not afraid of bitter medicine, he drank it all in a few sips. He even asked for porridge, so I just started to cook it."

"Wanting porridge is good, it means he's got an appetite."
