Lyra was aware that Chase made a trip to the Haynes Group today.
Chase paused for a few seconds. "I'll see how it goes tonight."
"Chase, I'll feel scared if you don't come back!" said Lyra.
"There are so many servants at home. What is there to be afraid of? If you're afraid, call your mother over to accompany you," Chase remarked.
"Chase, I want you to accompany me!" Lyra spoke in a soft and pleading tone.
Chase furrowed his brows deeply. "All right, then. I'll go home tonight!"
When Lyra heard this, she was overjoyed. "Then I'll cook for you!"
"There's no need for that!" said Chase.
"I want to do it. I'll go out to buy groceries later and cook. After that, I'll wait for you to be back," said Lyra.
"Just let the servants do these things. You don't have to make yourself so tired!" said Chase.
The more virtuous Lyra behaved, the more uneasy Chase felt!
"Chase…" Lyra wanted to say something else.
