"So how did it go? Did the plan work? Did the slimy bastard fall for it?" Shawn parked his vehicle and gave the keys to an average build guard. He gladly collected the keys and drove the car away. Before Shawn was a beautiful estate that belonged to his father. It was hundreds of years old but was refurbished a few years back. 

Back then during Mangus's early reign, the estate served as a huge house for his pack members. His beta and gamma had a separate mansion of their own and so did he. It was like living like a big family.

"Reid, can you relax a bit? Or are you an ally of his?" Asked Shawn with a curled brow. Kevin's eyes almost popped out of their sockets. He tucked his hands into his black pants pockets, a grimace forming on his thin lips.

"Of course not! Why would you ask such a question? I just want to know if this civil war has finally ended."
