章節 13: Welcome to our universe
"Who is calling so early in the morning?" Haru says all annoyed.
Haru glances on the direction of my bed. But I was still sleeping soundly even though my phone has been ringing for a while now. Right at that moment someone knocks at our room.
"Coming!!!!" Haru answers the door just to see a fuming Doyun hyung
"What is wrong with you guys? I've been calling Dae for so long. And why is your phone turned off? Where is Dae?"
"He's still sleeping."
"What do you mean he's still sleeping?"
"See for yourself."
Doyun hyung makes his way towards my bed and pulls my blanket. "Enough sleeping. Wake up!!!!!" Doyun hyung screams.
I hastily get up as soon as I hear his voice. "Oh no! What time is it? Did I over slept?"
"Freshen up as soon as you can. We'll start for the studio in 15 minutes."
"15 MINUTES!!!!!!????? Are you for real?"
"Yes. And wait? Why are you two wearing matching PINK pajamas?"
"What's wrong with it?" Haru asks.
"Yeah, Mihiro told me you two have matching pajama set as well. Now don't deny it."
"But it's not pink with Flowering Heart characters on it." Doyun hyung protests.
"So you do know this show. I knew it you like this show. See Haru I told ya. He likes this shows."
"Whatever get ready. We're getting late."
"Yeah right." Haru says with a smirk.
We hurriedly get ready and go to the hotel lobby. We were the last to arrive. Eun hyung takes us to a van and we go to the salon to get ready. They specially opened for us so early in the morning. It is still dark out right now.
We shot as many scenes as possible till evening, then we get some food and rest for a while then again straight to the dance studio where we're supposed to practice.
"Ok boys, since you guys still don't seem to quite catch the choreo, we need to pracice more and even harder." Minsoo hyung states.
(Minsoo is their dance coach who appeared in chapter 9)
"Hyung why are we having a dance? At first we weren't going to have any." Jun whines as usual.
"Start practicing. It's not the time for you guys to think that. You guys have to prepared for every possible thing at all times." Minsoo hyung reminds us.
"Are we in the military?" Yohan whispers to me.
"Seems like it." I whisper back.
"Come on boys, we'll give you a demo now. Watch carefully."
Our pre-debut song "WELCOME TO OUR UNIVERSE" starts playing and we watch attentively as the dance teams dances to it. The choreography isn't so hard or complex. Actually it's really easy. It's just we were told that we won't have to dance for this song that's why we're kind of unwilling to do so.
Just like that a whole week goes by and we pack up our shooting and have a small party. Surely we can't drink alcohol so nobody ordered any. Nice crew members indeed. While on the plane back to Seoul, Eun hyung told us that we'll have a day off, but we'll have to start practice soon after, since our debut is so near.
We went back to our daily lives just like we used to. School in the morning then practice till midnight.
Some days later................
"Jun, I can't reach Hajin. Is he that busy?" I ask.
"Bro got a girl now, so of course he's busy." Jun states.
"Quit joking, she's his co-star, not his actual girlfriend." I inform Jun.
"Wait wait, It's him."
"Pick it, pick it."
"Hey Jinnie!!! We missed you bro. Why are you so busy these days? You even miss school these days." Jun says in a weird tone.
"Shut it. Where's Dae?" Hajin speaks firmly.
"I'm here. Plus I'm mad at you. Why won't you pick my calls?"
"Sorry. I just wrapped up the day. Also tomorrow is the last day of shooting."
"You still sad about that project from director Jung?"
"Kinda.........but hey this one is good too. I did land the second lead. And it's my very first project."
"When will the first episode air?" I ask curiously.
"This Monday. Sorry buds need to go. I'll be back school the day after tomorrow so let's talk then."
"Sure bro. Oh, by the way our song releases tomorrow." Jun informs.
"I'll be first to see." Hajin says confidently.
"Bye Jinnie."
"Yeah bye Junnie."
"What the fuck you guys?" I start laughing.
Something unexpecting happens. 10 million views in just one day? Now that's a shock. Our manager shows us the views and comments. Mostly good but some of them aren't. But hey You need both fans and haters. That's called a balanced life.
"Boys that's impressive. This calls for a celebration." says Ms. Seo.
"We'll work even harder." Doyun hyung says.
"How about we throw a small party?" Ms. Seo states.
"That's a good idea. I'll inform the whole crew." Eun hyung says as he goes out to call everyone.
"You boys can take a 3 days break then." Ms. Seo says.
That day we had a small party in a fancy restaurant. The food was so good. We wanted to eat more, but yeah we simply couldn't. Because everyone was there. But it's okay. We need to watch our appearance. But honestly I hate this. I hate the "KOREAN BEAUTY STANDERS". IT's so annoying. I mean why do they even want "V" shaped face? What are they gonna do with it? I saw our pre-debut concept photos, I feel so offended. The literally white-washed me. Most annoying thing is the "DOUBLE EYELID". Ugh.........no comments.
After an one week break I'm finally back to school. Me, Jun, Ethan, Doyun hyung and Haru, we go to school together. Someone usually drops and picks us up from school. When we enter the class, everyone gives me weird looks. Doyun hyung is actually a bit sick so couldn't come with us today.
"What happened to you guys?" Ari asked curiously.
"Bro, don't even ask." Jun replies.
"Let's just sit first." Haru suggests.
We go to our respective seats. And now not only Ari but everyone are gathering near my our seat. Since there was empty seats in my class, the teachers transferred Ethan and Haru to my class as per our agencies request. Also we sit together. So, yeah I can't sit with Ari anymore.
"Ok so what hap-"
"Dude they literally touched my hair, no actually they pulled my hair. I think they even took some. I should quit." Jun complaints.
"Someone took away my tie. I need to inform the dean about it, or else he'll scold me for hours just cuz if the "TIE." says Ethan.
"Someone actually scratched my arm. See? It's kinda burning. I should go see the nurse." Haru says.
"And you see? I actually climbed up the wall to enter, so that I can avoid them." I say.
"You totally betrayed us." Ethan states.
"You abandoned us." Haru says.
"You ditched us." Jun says.
"I think you we need to take care of these crazy crowd. They look like they are middle schoolers. What are they even doing here? They are surely missing school." Ari states.
"There are too many of them. Never-mind, Haru let's go to the nurse's office."
After that we usually come to school pretty early so that we could avoid those crazy fans. Moreover this is just the beginning. Things might get crazier after we debut. Nut I'm ready for the worst.
