“So, tell me, how are you now?” Lily finished drinking the water first, then asked Kim.

“Mmm, I’ve somehow survived. But see this…” Kim pointed to her neck and said, “It still hurts like hell.”

“Tell me what happened there.” Lily asked impatiently. “How did you end up getting injured?”

Kim then gave a gruesome story, leaving nothing behind. Lily gobbled up the story like a little kid, with her eyes almost bursting out of the sockets.

“Sis! Do you even believe what you have said just now?”

“Right? It’s not at all credible, is it?” Kim asked her in return.

“Come on! So, what do you think it was?”

“If it was not a ghost, then what was it? By the way, do you have your phone with you now?”

“Of course! Here!” Lily gave Kim her phone.
