They finished checking Caoimhe's room, only finding the information on the dresses and nothing else of note. There was surely more to be found, but time was running out, and the clock was even shorter today when Caoimhe might return to her room at any time.
"Return back to your prince." The man said to her, as he ushered her into the tunnel. "Warn him of the princess' plan to interfere with the investigation further."
"But we don't have any proof or-"
"Your conniving prince has his ways." He waved a hand. "Return tomorrow. There is much more to look for."
"Ah- wait! Wait!" She waved and grabbed his arm before he could push her off much further.
The man hesitated once he fixed the portrait on the wall, hiding their entrance and buying them time in case the princess were to suddenly return. "What is it? It's too dangerous to continue searching-"
"I can't make it back to the exit on my own. I have no idea where to go."
