Another wasted day.
She'd succeeded in doing maid duties, and even feeding some random lords, but it just felt like she was making up excuses to cope with failure to try to say today was anything but just that: another failure.
There wasn't any point in convincing people she was genuinely a maid if she wasn't convincing people actually involved in the assassination.
She hadn't even gotten any interesting rumors out of it.
Hell, she hadn't even seen that creepy dude who claimed to know about more dangers in the castle.
Though that was mostly because she could never seem to remember where it was in the castle she kept running into him - due to it always being when she wasn't paying attention to where she was wandering.
She still didn't know why he'd been lurking in a dark room with no other exits.
It hadn't even been a bedroom or anything, just some old unused meeting hall or storage hall or something.
Okay so. I had to take a bit of a break there because I was dying. I could not seem to get this plot moving and I had to take some time to gather myself rather than waste more time.
