Count Norik swept an arm towards the front doors of the estate.

The wooden double doors swung inward, and they were greeted with a hallway which led into an elaborate antechamber, and from there into a larger, grandiose room with a vaulted ceiling.

The furniture in the room was all finely polished mahogany wood, ornately carved in swirls and elegant designs, with cushions made from plush, supple fabrics in jewel-bright colors.

Lamps glowed, flickering softly with a warm, comforting orange light. The windows were open, and she could hear the rustle of leaves and the songs of crickets and other night-dwelling animals in the wind.

In the middle of the room were couches and chairs. Everything in this place seemed to be positioned in order to ensure that one could admire both the outside view and the luxurious interior décor at once.
