"Snowball!" She called out with a little smile. "Don't run off into the garden so far~"

The fluffy white kitten ignored her entirely. He continued bouncing through the rows of plants in the little plot of dirt they'd planted fresh sprigs in.

She smiled fondly as she watched the kitten investigate every bit of greenery with his nose.

Octavian reached out and ran his fingers through her hair. "The little troublemaker doesn't listen well, does he?"

"Prrrt!" Snowball's nose was covered in dirt as he rolled onto his back in the grass, meowing up at them.

Isabelle sighed. "He's going to be fussy when I have to bathe him again..."

Octavian hummed and shook his head.

She planted her hands on her hips and smiled down at Snowball. "You silly boy. You're not going to try to run off again are you? I'll have you know I fixed that hole you wriggled through last time."
