Howl emerged with his bronze, caramel feathers that shimmered in the morning light as if the sun itself had decided to linger a little longer, casting a golden halo around him. His wings, outstretched and majestic, caught in the sun's rays, casting a saintly glow upon the mist.
The curve of his jawline, the sweep of his cheekbones—each feature seemed sculpted by divine hands. As he stood there with an angelic presence, Cara seemed to hold her breath in awe.
'So pretty,' she instantly thought inside her head like a starstruck fan meeting her idol crush, her eyes lingered on the breathtakingly handsome angel.
Cain and the rest, who were perturbed and stood with their guards up, didn't notice the changes in her expression.
"W-Who might you be?" Cain asked cautiously, his voice a low growl that betrayed both wariness and a hint of vulnerability.
