Two days later, Xion was in his laboratory in front of two capsules containing two elders.
Xion knew these two elders. One of them was Ma'chello, the sole survivor of a village that opposed the Goa'uld and was destroyed by them, and the other was Merlin, an ascended being that Xion would swear was Janus, but was actually Moros, another ancient Lantean who ascended, discovered the Ori, and returned to the mortal plane to become Merlin with the goal of destroying the Ori, although he wanted to cheat, and the ascended beings thwarted his plans. However, they allowed him to keep his life in case they needed a backup plan. Xion couldn't be convinced that they didn't know where this elder was hiding.
Xion was surprised when his bio-spheres found him a couple of days ago, healing him from his near-death state and transporting him to this galaxy while copying all his knowledge. This surely had the ascended beings watching him right now, but Xion was sure they wouldn't attack since he hadn't broken their rules and had acquired the knowledge of this elder fairly and through mortal means. If Replicator Carter wasn't punished for stealing the knowledge the ascended beings had sealed in Daniel's mind in the original story, he wouldn't be either.
Xion had even created a separate dimension using Merlin's knowledge because this was the method the elder used to hide from the ascended beings. He entered the dimension, dragging the pair of elders with him, so the ascended beings wouldn't break their rules and hide the old man somewhere unknown. The dimension had nothing unusual, and he didn't feel any changes, so Xion didn't linger much in it and returned after an hour, bringing the elders with him.
Merlin's knowledge was valuable because it was thousands of years ahead of any advanced civilization in this galaxy or any other that Xion knew, as it came from the ascended beings and included weapons capable of killing gods. Even this elder had faced the ascended beings after leaving their ranks and pretending to leave behind any knowledge of them when returning to the mortal plane. However, he had cheated and not only retained his knowledge with which he planned to exterminate the Ori but also held onto a great deal of power.
When the ascended beings realized his deception, he was well protected and safe in another dimension he created himself. Despite that, the ascended beings weren't easy to deal with, and in the end, they managed to defeat him and almost kill him.
"What irony," said Xion. This elder had been one of Janus's main opponents and had also imposed severe punishments. He was rigid and strict, but after ascending, he himself became a black sheep and wreaked his own havoc, even offering power to ordinary humans.
Xion sighed. Despite it all, this elder who managed to overcome his tree-hugger phase was a hero, as he sacrificed everything because he knew that one day the Ori would find the Milky Way galaxy and enslave all intelligent life in it, killing non-human species.
Xion wasn't sure whether to wake them up or not, but in the end, he activated the two capsules, and both elders woke up and emerged from them to look at him. Xion had already recorded in their minds all the basic information about who he was and what he was doing at that moment.
"Emperor, I will be eternally grateful for allowing me to witness the end of my sworn enemies," said Ma'chello. Xion nodded and transported him to the bridge to witness the final preparations.
"You have acquired my knowledge," said Merlin with a smile. "And I had nothing to do with it; they cannot harm you," he said with satisfaction. Xion nodded.
"At this moment, this ship, which is part of me, is integrating all that knowledge. However, I won't create weapons against the ascended beings. I have other plans for the Ori, and at the moment, they don't pose a threat to us," Xion lied.
"It seems that humans did turn out to be the next evolution of our species, free and without any of our limitations," Merlin said.
"It has its consequences, a mess of beliefs and divisions, but we survived and adapted," Xion said, pointing to himself. "Right now, I am about to ensure that our victories don't turn into chaos. Would you like to accompany me? There's a vacant emperor position that I believe you are suitable for. You can also ascend and return with your kind…" the elder showed a displeased expression.
"I have always stood with those who stay alive and fight to survive," he declared, and Xion nodded.
"Then, let's go," Xion said, transporting to the bridge, where a gigantic two-kilometer Stargate could be seen. They were on the outskirts of the Lantean system, waiting for the countdown to cross to the Milky Way.
On the bridge of the Titan, there were several guests. Xion appeared on the Asgard throne, and Merlin joined Ma'chello and the rest of the guests. These guests were Daniel, Carter, General Hammond, Ma'chello, and Merlin. Teal'c, Master Bra'tac, the Jaffa, and the Tok'ra were distributed among fifteen Ha'taks on the sides of the Titan.
"This is Ma'chello, the last survivor of a village exterminated by the Goa'uld. They were the main reason why no Goa'uld ship arrived on Earth before," Xion explained. His former team and General Hammond hurried to thank Ma'chello, who nodded with a stoic expression but eyes filled with pain and weariness.
"And this is Merlin, a Lantean who traveled to our galaxy and later ascended, but seeing that the galaxy was in danger, changed his mind and decided to return. However, things didn't go well, and he has been having a tough time until now," Xion introduced. Merlin nodded with a wry smile.
"I suppose if they hadn't rescued me, my fate would have been death and oblivion," Merlin said with a sigh of regret.
"Another ascended being!" Carter exclaimed in astonishment. Daniel blinked several times.
"Sir, it's an honor to meet you. The Nox have spoken well of the ascended beings…" Daniel shut his mouth when Merlin looked at them with anger, making it clear that his relationship with the ascended beings was not good.
"Merlin had to break some rules for the safety of the galaxy, and that made the ascended beings try to… correct him," Xion said diplomatically. "You could say they are at odds," he added to prevent Daniel and Carter from talking more about the ascended beings in front of Merlin.
"If you break the rules of the ascended beings, they try to… correct you," Daniel said with a blink, and he, Carter, and General Hammond looked at him. Xion glared at them threateningly.
"My status is one hundred percent legal; I haven't broken any rules. I've obtained everything using mortal means, although I must admit that, without the knowledge Merlin retained, things would have taken much longer. In the end, we made a good team, though it was Merlin who paid the price," Xion explained.
With his current knowledge, he would no longer need Asgard technology, as they were thousands of years ahead, being the ultimate technology in this universe. Of course, Merlin didn't retain everything; he left the most important, but even so, that was a lot, and he already knew where to get the rest. Daniel and Carter looked at him accusingly. Xion glared at them threateningly in response to their veiled accusations.
"Xion, you always seem to get everything without giving anything in return. Are you sure you haven't violated the rules?" Daniel asked with some concern.
"Daniel, as there is no ascended being here trying to erase my existence, you can be sure I haven't violated their rules," Xion said.
"I can vouch for that," Merlin said with a vengeful tone. He had also assumed that Xion was an ascended being because only an ascended being could reach where he was without paying a high price for it. His team breathed a sigh of relief.
"Well, the time has come," Xion said, opening four screens on the bridge. These four screens showed three command bridges of the Ha'tak ships around them, two of them led by Teal'c and Bra'tac, and another led by Egeria. The last screen showed a Stargate floating in the void of space, activating at that moment.
"Primates, administrator, I am creating your entrance; the enemy is aware of your arrival," Xion said, and the galaxy map in front of the throne lit up to indicate that his bio-spheres were broadcasting to all Goa'uld planets and servants of the Goa'uld.
At this moment, on each of these worlds, the image of the fourth screen was being displayed—a transmission projected into the sky of each world, immune to interference from any Goa'uld, visible to all.
The fourth screen displayed the Stargate connecting and creating a portal from which small ships seemed to emerge, shooting out of the portal. The view expanded, showing how these ships formed a circle two kilometers in diameter. Then, the small Stargate turned off, and the massive Stargate began to activate, simultaneously with the one in front of them.
…
By connecting the Stargate, three Ha'tak ships arrived, firing upon it without asking questions or attempting to speak. Still, their plasma shots were stopped by a shield more than ten kilometers away from the portal.
"Primates, it is time to found the Rising Empire, with the fall of the Goa'uld Empire," declared Xion solemnly, while the massive Stargate activated, connecting the Milky Way galaxy with the Pegasus galaxy.
"For the free Jaffa and the Rising Empire!" declared Teal'c and Bra'tac.
"For the end of the Goa'uld Empire," declared Egeria, and the fifteen Ha'tak ships crossed the Stargate in succession, appearing on the fourth screen, entering the Milky Way, and immediately activating shields and firing at the enemy Ha'tak ships.
…
Numerical superiority destroyed one of the Ha'tak ships while the other two retreated to hyperspace with severe damage. Xion supposed there were Goa'uld in them because Jaffa wouldn't retreat from a battle, even if it were lost.
…
The battle was broadcasted to the skies of the Goa'uld worlds, and then the bridge of the ship commanded by Teal'c was shown. Seeing his own image on the screen, he stood up and, looking forward, began to speak.
"Brother Jaffa, you who are slaves under the Goa'uld tyranny, deceived by false gods and fearful of a power that does not belong to them. I am Teal'c, a Jaffa just like you. And like you, I once served the false god Apophis. My father, like your fathers, was also a Jaffa who served the false god Cronus and was killed by him. Like you, I am a proud warrior and a father of a son, just like some of you.
"But today, before you, I stand as a free Jaffa who has opened his eyes and can see that, due to my ignorance, I came to see divinity in a miserable parasite.
"I, Teal'c, today will prove to all of you that the Goa'uld are not gods and that they have no power other than what we, the Jaffa, grant them. We are their strength, and yet, we kneel before them.
"That's why today, I have come before you to show you the truth and to invite you to join me in my joy of being free Jaffa, away from Goa'uld slavery."
"Today, I come to show you the future of the Jaffa, a future free from the Goa'uld yoke. I want you to accompany me and see with your own eyes how the false gods are powerless against our strength, the strength of the Jaffa," declared Teal'c, and the screen changed again, showing the fleet arriving at Dakara and facing a fleet of eight Ha'tak ships assuming battle positions.
…
The screen split In two, showing the space battle and also a ring platform in the temple that was activated. Teal'c, along with a group of five Jaffa, transported and appeared under fire from the Jaffa guarding the place. They quickly fired upon seeing them as enemies, but the plasma bursts hit Teal'c's and his group's armors, absorbing the damage before activating shields.
The Jaffa accompanying Teal'c wore helmets with a stylized design and ancient runes in relief resembling a face silhouette. However, Teal'c only activated his helmet after arriving to make it clear that he led the battle.
In the hands of Teal'c and his warriors, human-designed weapons materialized, resembling assault rifles but being plasma repeaters firing bursts at an unmatched speed and precision for a Goa'uld staff weapon. With these weapons, Teal'c's group defeated their rivals as more Jaffa transported behind them, initiating a ground invasion.
…
The screen split once again to show the bridge of a Ha'tak where Bra'tac directed the space battle. Meanwhile, the Goa'uld Ha'tak ships released their bombers and death gliders.
Bra'tac ordered the release of their own fighters but none of the bombers, as they surpassed the enemy in firepower. Their goal was solely to deal with the death gliders to prevent them from firing on the ground troops, which numbered only two hundred and were already at a clear disadvantage against the thousand defenders. Reinforcements would soon arrive through the Stargate, Teal'c's objective. However, it was already activating, and the System Lords would not allow Dakara to fall.
The galaxy map showed all their forces in the vicinity marching toward Dakara, including minor Goa'uld Lords who were mercenaries, contacted by the System Lords and offered rewards to contribute their forces. In total, more than fifty Ha'tak ships were heading to Dakara.
In the original series, Dakara was taken when the Replicators invaded the Milky Way, and Ba'al could only send five Ha'tak ships to defend Dakara as the rest of the Lords had been killed. But this was not the current situation; this was the peak of the System Lords. With all the turmoil they were causing, even the last of them felt indignation, and they knew that if they didn't put an end to Teal'c's rebellion, it would be their end. Therefore, all their forces would be employed against him.
…
Xion observed as nearly a hundred death gliders attempted to descend to the planet, but Bra'tac deployed fifty upgraded fighters with shield systems, sensors, and flight assistance for the pilots. The Goa'uld death gliders began to fall rapidly.
Meanwhile, Bra'tac was not idle and maintained communication with the ships he fought, urging them to surrender and join his rebellion against the false gods. However, the Goa'uld directing the defense fleet cursed him repeatedly and paid no attention.
Bra'tac knew he had no time and gave him only a minute to surrender. After that time elapsed, he ordered the use of probes, and eight were fired at the eight Goa'uld ships, piercing through their shields as if they weren't there and hitting their shield generators.
These probes were not technology from the empire but a collaboration of the Lanteans because they considered themselves responsible for the rise of the Goa'uld in the Milky Way and wanted to collaborate in their empire's downfall.
Once their shields fell, Bra'tac ordered a ceasefire and activated the ring platforms, taking enemy commanders by surprise as the battle shifted to their own bridges.
…
Bra'tac's objective was fulfilled just a minute later when he himself captured the Goa'uld leading the fleet and began to give him a beating hand to hand in front of his own Jaffa. The latter could only blink, seeing their almighty god receiving a mortal beating from an elderly Jaffa.
…
In the temple, things were not going well for Teal'c, who had not yet reached the portal. Groups of Jaffa were coming out of this portal, reinforcing the place, but every time a portal opened, they were reinforcements from a different Goa'uld Lord. The defending forces were not united, so Teal'c continued to maintain a perimeter one kilometer from the portal with his hundred Jaffa.
However, this changed when Master Bra'tac sank his hand into the neck of the Goa'uld leading the defending fleet and extracted the symbiote, crushing it with his hand. All Jaffa, both the defenders in the temple and those on the ships commanded by the Goa'uld, witnessed this, as their systems had been infiltrated.
The Jaffa from the defending fleet quickly supported Bra'tac and pledged loyalty aloud. With this, the ring platforms activated, and reinforcements began arriving for Teal'c. Moreover, the fighters released by Bra'tac were already in action and launched against the defending forces. Although there were doubts for a few seconds because the slain Goa'uld was not their own god, the defenders' faith resisted, and they continued to fight to protect the portal while more Jaffa arrived to defend Dakara.
Nevertheless, with more than four thousand Jaffa from the defending fleet and Bra'tac's fighters descending to clear the area, Teal'c advanced once again and managed to take the portal in just an hour. He placed a device that activated a shield over the portal, preventing more reinforcements from passing through.
…
Teal'c occupied the entire screen again. His armor showed signs of being hit by heavy cannon fire, as it was somewhat damaged, and a thread of blood came out of his mouth when he removed the helmet. Still, his eyes looked determined, and his expression was resolute as he showed the battlefield where he achieved his swift victory, with thousands fallen.
"Brothers, the Goa'uld are false gods, and here is the proof. Dakara has fallen, and at no point have we witnessed the power of a god. This is simply a battle of Jaffa against Jaffa. As I said before, we are the strength of these false gods. Without us, they are nothing.
"So, do not fear, join me; the Goa'uld are nothing…
"Ba'al is my god, and my soul will dwell in his kingdom when my life comes to an end," murmured a fallen Jaffa next to Teal'c. His wounds were mortal, and he was already bidding farewell to the world, but he did not forget to give credit to his god.
"Then go to your god," said Teal'c, materializing a plasma pistol and shooting the pouch where he carried the symbiote, causing instant death. He then ordered two of his guards to lift the body while materializing a small vial with a needle.
"Ba'al, if you are truly a god, you will have already taken the soul of this loyal warrior who died in your service," said Teal'c, injecting the liquid containing the syringe into the deceased Jaffa.
This syringe contained nanites that began repairing the Jaffa's body, which scientifically speaking, was not truly dead, as his cells were still alive, and only his organs were in a state of shock. After a few minutes, the Jaffa came back to life, looking at Teal'c in astonishment.
"Are you a god?" asked the Jaffa.
"No, brother, I am no different from you. I have used no divine power. This is simply knowledge that the Goa'uld hide from us to keep the Jaffa ignorant and loyal to them.
"Now, answer: Have you seen your god? Has he claimed the soul of one of his faithful? Or have I, a simple mortal, been able to snatch a soul from him?" Teal'c asked. The Jaffa looked at himself and then at Teal'c.
"The Goa'uld are not gods," declared the Jaffa with determination. Teal'c nodded and reached out to materialize an entire case of syringes. The Jaffa widened his eyes.
"Then let us make it known to all who have fallen defending false gods, and let them tell us if their god has come for their soul," said Teal'c solemnly.
…
With his words, the captured Jaffa, who kept grunting and struggling to break free, begging to be executed, stopped fighting. Each time one of them fell and rose, more Jaffa requested to join Teal'c's cause.
…
The screen split once again, showing other Jaffa throughout the galaxy beginning to rebel against their Lords, even on the ships sent to defend Dakara. However, the transmission focused on a ship belonging to Ba'al, threatening one of his Jaffa with blowing up the ship with his supposed divine power if he did not give up his life for his disobedience. Before he finished his threat, Ba'al saw himself on the transmission.
"Ba'al, false god, if you have such power, do it," challenged Teal'c, who, like other Jaffa, knew that the Goa'uld could remotely control the ships serving them and could destroy them or deactivate their systems. Some ships did not have this system, but Ba'al did.
What Ba'al did not know, but Teal'c did, was that all his control systems had been hacked by them at the start of the attack.
The Jaffa on the rebellious Ha'tak, seeing themselves in the transmission, pledged loyalty to Teal'c, accepting their possible deaths at the hands of Ba'al as a sacrifice for Jaffa freedom. However, Teal'c assured them that they would be fine and challenged Ba'al again to destroy the ship. Ba'al seemed to ponder it, but in reality, he had already sent the self-destruct signal three times, and the ship was not responding.
Ba'al cut the transmission, but to his surprise, this did not work either, and he continued to appear on the screen. The Jaffa with him on the bridge of his flagship frowned at his helplessness.
Ba'al shot one of his Jaffa upon realizing that they would soon attack him, but the other Jaffa was already shooting at him, and more Jaffa approached to shoot at Ba'al. Being a coward, Ba'al fled using the ring platform to head to a cargo platform and abandon his ship.
Xion could have stopped him and locked him up to fall into the hands of his Jaffa, but he focused on Ba'al, counting on him fleeing to save his own skin. Everything was recorded on the cameras.
Ba'al's Jaffa screamed indignantly when he left his flagship, but they looked more ashamed than outraged. Serving a false god was one thing to be indignant about, but serving a coward was a humiliation to their own honor. Some of them demonstrated their fury by pulling out their daggers and tearing off Ba'al's mark. Jaffa were somewhat radical.
…
Xion smiled, knowing that Ba'al's escape would have a greater effect on the Jaffa than his own death. His escape was proof that he feared death, and only mortals fear death. This was inconceivable for a god.
…
"It seems this theocratic empire has already crumbled," said Merlin.
"Our struggle was in vain. We should never have considered the Jaffa as enemies," lamented Ma'chello.
Xion thought that in every war, knowing your enemy was the most important. If Ma'chello's people had known that undermining the loyalty of the Jaffa would be the downfall of the Goa'uld Empire, they would have waged a completely different war.
…
The transmission did not stop and for several days showed the fall of the Goa'uld Lords, both big and small. Some Jaffa remained loyal, but they were only five or six out of a thousand, and all were eliminated.
Some condemned Goa'uld chose suicide, but they were put in sarcophagi to later receive brutal deaths. Jaffa justice was ruthless.
Many leaders emerged in this rebellion, but none had as many followers as Teal'c and Bra'tac, who were credited with the fall of the first god.
…
A week after the rebellion began, the Rising Empire was officially formed. For this, the space station used by the Goa'uld System Lords for their meetings was used as headquarters.
All Jaffa leaders were invited to join this meeting, and in it, Teal'c spoke to them about the possibilities and the future he saw for the Jaffa. He urged them to continue being warriors but no longer in the service of false gods, but in the service of their own interests as Jaffa, as warriors of the Rising Empire.
…
Xion watched everything from the bridge of his ship when an Asgard ship emerged from hyperspace a few thousand kilometers from the position of the Titan, which was in stealth mode.
On the bridge, he was alone, and his only companions on the Titan were the Wraith, stored in the cargo bays, who would sleep for about a hundred years until he decided to wake them up to see if they sought peace or if they preferred to keep sleeping for another thousand years. If they refused a second time, he would then convert them into biomass and store them as another resource.
Xion sent a greeting signal to the Asgard ship, which aligned beside him as it reached him. The Asgard ship responded to his greeting with a transmission, which Xion accepted, and a hologram of Thor in his own Asgard throne appeared before him. Xion raised an eyebrow.
"Thor, have you grown a few inches?" Xion asked, noting the radical change that the small gray troll had undergone, now measuring a meter and a half and appearing muscular. And he said "appeared" because he was wearing a tunic.
Thor, whose face was rounder and showed a smaller brain, smiled, causing Xion to blink.
"Was our knowledge more than you expected?" Thor asked arrogantly. Xion rolled his eyes, although it was evident that these gray dwarves had already found the cure for their genetic degeneration or had made significant advances in it.
In fact, the fact that Thor was wearing clothes also indicated that they had recovered their reproductive ability. Although imagining such things about these gray dwarves was disturbing, and Xion pushed those thoughts out of his mind.
"I may have underestimated your genetic technology a bit," Xion admitted, although he knew that these guys could barely make a human clone. They wouldn't really advance much without the genetic archive of the Alterans. Xion transmitted some data about the bio-nanites.
"You have made progress, but it is clear that you still lack. So be more humble and accept the help of a friend," Xion said.
"Nanites," Thor said, furrowing his new brow. Xion showed his teeth.
"I created them specifically with you in mind," Xion said maliciously.
Giving the Asgard a cure that included nanite technology was almost an insult to them. Surely their entire council frowned upon his gift, just like Thor was doing at the moment.
"These bio-nanites can integrate with your bodies, and in no time, they will have assimilated your genetic material, producing results that none of your research can surpass. There is no genetic disease or biological entity that can overcome this creation because they are based on a species whose cells are quite aggressive," explained Xion. So far, he hadn't achieved anything even remotely resembling Wraith cells. Thor grimaced.
"Why do I feel like you have other alternatives at your disposal and just want to inconvenience us?" Thor asked suspiciously. He had guessed, but Xion put on an innocent face.
"Thor, don't tell me the great commander of the Asgard fleet fears a little medical treatment," Xion said. Thor made another grimace.
"I will present your gift to the council," Thor said.
"I have more for you," Xion said, sending the coordinates of Lantea. "I know you separated a long time ago, but I think a reunion would be good for you. Also, the Lanteans are very busy managing the disaster left behind by the Wraith. When I left Atlantis, many people wanted to visit you because their city warned them of your presence. I'm sure they would appreciate some administrative collaboration," Xion said. Thor blinked several times.
"They have also managed to survive," Thor said. Xion smiled in his mind because he knew that in the Pegasus galaxy, they would encounter other Asgard.
Xion knew they were there, but since they were Asgard, dealing with them was the Asgard's business, not his.
…
After the meeting, the Jaffa joined the Rising Empire in large numbers, but not all of them. Some claimed planets and factories and intended to continue using slaves to build more ships and act as Goa'uld lords. Faced with this, Teal'c acted immediately, invading their planets and executing them to free the slaves in the name of the free Jaffa and the Rising Empire, which declared sovereignty over all the territory that once belonged to the Goa'uld: all their worlds and all their resources, by right of conquest.
Jaffa who did not join the Rising Empire were free to leave, but they could not take slaves or claim planets, as it was the Rising Empire that conquered the Goa'uld Empire, not any group of independent Jaffa.
Only the spoils of war from what they had conquered with their own hands, such as ships, weapons, and resources, were granted. Planets and factories were not part of the loot but territory of the new empire, and their capture was compensated with ships or weapons, depending on the preference of these groups. With this declaration, many more Jaffa joined the empire, realizing that there was no way to become lords.
Furthermore, Jaffa valued the right of conquest, and Teal'c truly had this right.
As for those who chose to stay apart, as Xion predicted, they became mercenaries, working for money, and soon lost all their followers because that was a dishonor for a warrior. In anarchy, it was acceptable, but now there was Teal'c, appealing to the honor of the Jaffa, and it was a constant reminder of their dishonor.
…
So, ten years passed, and Xion had been in this universe for over twelve years. The Rising Empire now had over a thousand established worlds, with millions of people on them, and in about a hundred years, they would be the dominant power in this galaxy.
During these ten years, as planets were established one after another, the Jaffa took care of securing their safety from small rebel Jaffa groups or small anarchic or rebellious factions aiming to become the new Goa'uld lords of their territory.
However, with an army of tens of millions of Jaffa and a fleet of over three thousand ships, between captured and created ones, the Jaffa army had no rival, and the empire continued to grow incessantly, uniting the former Goa'uld worlds and those abandoned by them.
Xion was no longer needed, and his throne was now occupied by Merlin, who kept a watchful eye in case the Ori, whom he considered his true enemy, arrived. To prevent that, Xion had already revealed the location where Merlin stored his treasures to Earth and claimed the intergalactic communication device so that no one could reach the Ori galaxy.
Now he only had two things left to do, which were crucial to prevent his work from unraveling, but they were threats better faced as a god. For that, he could ascend, which was a flawed plan because he would be pressured, or he could become a god and use his newfound knowledge to enhance himself.
He also had the option of creating the anti-ascended weapon and sending it to the Ori galaxy, as thanks to Merlin, he knew its coordinates, but that would deprive him of the opportunity to learn many things about the Ori, so he discarded that plan.
…
"People, it's time to go to sleep, but I'll be back to see how things are going later," said Xion, bidding farewell as the Titan entered hyperspace and, in an hour, was already three galaxies away from the Milky Way, traveling fifty years into the past.
Xion activated the ship's security and went to sleep to give his divine cells time to assimilate his body, turning him into a god and restoring all his divine abilities.
