"Diego, why aren't you helping with the rescue? What are you doing here?" Clara nudged Luis, signaling him to run and find help.

Diego and his two or three companions focused their attention on Clara, not noticing Luis slipping away. Clara marveled at Luis's cleverness, wondering how to skip between these four beasts.
