章節 17: Storm's End

It was time for heads to roll. The war for Stormlands was over.

It was time to install new Lords and remove the ones who could potentially rebel.

For this Raynor was just an observer, he was sitting in a comfy chair in a corner in the Lord's Solar. All the Stag banners were removed and in their place, Golden Rose banners were hanged.

He was using one of his knives to cut an apple while listening to who will lose their heads and who will live. Willas is not that bad of a Lord…future King… Though people will die.

"This leads to Eldric Baratheon. I suggest finishing off the Baratheon line." Randyll Tarly said with a no-nonsense tone.

"I agree. Knowing that they have God's blood in them is far too dangerous to keep around. Even then, many Lords in Stormlands will still flock to Baratheon."

"Then I will deal with him. I want that blood. Let him rest, and regain strength. Tomorrow I shall have a proper duel to death." Raynor said as he bit a piece of Apple.

"As you wish my Lord."

'A proper duel, with the same weapons, will initiate a proper blood acquisition through War Totem. One should not just earn souls but Lifeblood as well.'

Raynor thought to himself as he was thinking about the situation he was in.

In the worst case, he could spend some time looking for Gendry Waters. Another Bastard of Robert. That kid survived the explosion of King's Landing. The Wolf King after all didn't kill hundreds of thousands of people. Now they will be useful to him. Just in case this trick doesn't work.

After this Raynor returned to thinking about means to discover the room.

The easiest way would be how he found Garth The Greenhand sacred groove. Awakening the blood of a descendant and letting him around until he notices something strange.

Though the blood with God relation is what really attracts Raynor's attention he wants to add those perks to his body.

~~~
As Raynor got into a room that he selected for himself he summoned Margaery.
"Hmm? I thought you said that you are getting into a battle soon?"
"...What do you mean? The battle is finished and we took Storm's End. I thought the message had already reached Highgarden?"
"...I didn't return to Highgarden."
"What's the last thing you remember?"
His words made her slightly afraid! What is going on!?
"...You were preparing to face Stannis…"
"...I see… That was 8 days ago."
Her eyes widened to a massive degree!
"W-What does this mean!?"
"It means that you were not sent back when I dismissed my magic. A very curious discovery. This is good as well. Since I don't need to worry if anything happens to you if you were back in Highgarden."
"...Even so, I lost 8 days!"
"You didn't age by 8 days."
His words instantly made her calm down. Women and age… Those two don't mix.
"...Fine…" Margaery said that with a sigh. It's not her place to question Raynor. She sold herself for her family so she has no power over any of this.
"...Well, this is Storm's End?"
"Yes. Now I haven't talked with you for 8 days."
For a second she smiled before accepting his hand. She ended up sitting on his lap while he started to tell things about the battle with Stannis and the short sieges.
She didn't expect such utterly crushing victories. It only took a week to take over the whole of Stormlands!
He then told her how he messed with Stannis which made her grimace a lot.
Margaery didn't expect that there was a woman who lived for so long and that Stannis could kill his younger brother with Shadowbinding magic!
Regardless, the stoic Baratheon got what he deserved for killing Renly! Loras, Margaery's brother, was devastated to learn that Renly died by questionable means.
After telling the tale it was getting late and it was time to get into bed.
This was where the Rose of Highgarden dreaded what is to come next.
Thankfully for her nothing naughty happened as Raynor used her body as a hugging pillow.
He had things to do tomorrow in the morning so no naughty stuff.
~~~

"Oh sister, you are here. Welcome to Storm's End."

Willas by this point Willas was not surprised that her sister would just appear from nowhere.

Magic is a strange thing. When you get used to it you can expect pretty much the weirdest of things.

"My thanks brother. I hope you send a letter to Highgarden that I was with Lord Raynor?"

"I did mention it… Grandmother did mention that there might be some…issues with Hightower."

"...What happened?"

"You tell me, sister. Didn't you take all of your ladies in waiting for Lord Raynor?"

"OH…" Margaery realised she had a small issue.

"It's about cousin Elinor, she is engaged to Alyn Ambrose…his mother is Alysanne Hightower…" The brown-haired girl explained with a realising look.

"Yes. And Alysanne sends word to her father. Lord Hightower already sent a message to Lord Father. They want an explanation."

"Explanation? What can I say? Lord Raynor is a beast and I need help?"

"...Yes. Well, you will need to fix this. You don't want him to hear that there are issues. He wouldn't mind ending another Great House. He already has Starks, Baratheons, and possibly Tully. Hightower could join it as well if you don't find a way to fix it."

Margaery frowned. Her short-term solution which FAILED was already backfiring.

'...Why can't I just repeat what Raynor said and ignore it like nothing has happened…I could ask him to pick my girls as well… What man wouldn't want a group of beauties in his bed all the time?'

By this point, the Brown haired girl was just thinking of not dealing with the Hightowers! Why should she? Lord Leyton was giving away his Daughters to whatever was noteworthy in some way!

Besides, she asked Elinor if she wanted to join. She agreed so it's her issue just as it's hers!

Soon after Raynor arrived at the breakfast table and Margaery already shoved this into the corner of her mind.

As if nothing was going on. For this one Willas was with her.

After breakfast, it was time for the duel.

Something Margaery didn't expect first thing in the morning.

In the main courtyard a makeshift ring has been made and for this one Raynor allowed Eldric to dress however he wanted. Which the kid did. He was dressed in Baratheon colours in full plate armour with stag antlers.

"Not bad. Though…" As the Wolf King said he summoned his inventory and sorted through it before selecting something.

It was a Warhammer. He pulled it out and threw it at the Baratheon.

"Your old man's weapon. Use it well, you might be lucky and kill me."

Eldric picked the Warhammer and did a few swings.

"You are mad. I will crush you with my Royal Father's hammer!" The Baratheon said with burning fury.

"I am sure you will make him proud," Raynor said with a shrug.

With a roar, the tall kid rushed at the Hunter.

But the Wolf King sidestepped with a spin and delivered a powerful kick which made the steel plate armour screech and send the Young Storm King flying away a few metres.

"..."

The observing Lords and Tyrells were baffled. How powerful was that kick to send someone flying?

Not only that but the kid was struggling to stand up after that single kick.

While the Young Stag King was slowly getting back on his feet. Raynor leisurely walked over and helped him to stand up

before delivering a powerful punch.

"Did the air just ripple around his hand? What in…"

*BANG*

A sound of a fist colliding with plate armour spread through the courtyard as Raynor sent the Baratheon flying into Storm's End wall.

After this strike, the Eldric didn't get up anymore. His body just slid down the wall.

Once more the Wolf King walked over and picked up the body by its arm and started pulling into the castle. Leaving the Warhammer in the middle of the ring and some trail of blood.

"Gods…how strong is he?"

"...Strong enough," Willas said as he looked at his sister standing next to him. The girl had a thoughtful look.

"Remember to send a letter to Highgarden about the issue. I will help you, we don't need to make it into something big. Hightower is one of the most powerful houses in Reach."

"I know. I don't need to be reminded about such a thing."

As Margaery said that she turned around and asked the Measter if she could get a parchment to write on. She needs to send a word to her Grandmother. After seeing Raynor kill someone with a punch…

Yeah, she needs to think of something…

~~~
Half a day later Raynor already carved a small round wooden plate. It's in the form of a compass. He made sure he used the wood he cut himself back in the North.
With the plate completed, he dropped some of Eldric's blood on it.
Instead of splashing on the wood, it was floating like a blob and pointing the way.
A small grin appeared on his face as he proceeded to follow where the blob on the wooden plate was pointing to.
Though it was not easy to do as the Storm's End is not a small castle.
However, after half an hour of wandering he eventually ended up going down the stairs to the basement levels… or more precisely at the sea level.
It's where the ships can dock. As Storm's End has docks where people maintain and take care of warships and docks safely away from the harsh sea conditions.
Once he was at sea level he walked around for more before he was standing in front of a wall.
The blood blob was shaking like crazy in front of this wall.
To test this out he summoned a bowl with blood and a brush before brushing some of the blood on the wall.
This was a wild guess, but it should…
*RUMBLE*
Some of the dusks got blown out of the wall before the wall section pulled back and then sank into the side.
What he saw in front of him was a pond of calm water above this pond where there was a greatsword floating. It was like no other sword he knew…since the blade looked like solid water with red runes glowing inside of it.
While the handle and the pummelled of the blade are some sort of pure white wood.
It was Weirwood.
"...What a pleasant surprise."
[HIDDEN LOCATION DISCOVERED]
[UNIQUE MAGIC ADDED]
For now, Raynor dismissed the windows and walked over to the pond.
Incredibly enough he didn't sink into the water, instead he was standing on top of it.
His hand went over and took the blade.
The moment he touched the sword handle the solid water blade ceased to exist.
"Blood bound huh… at least I know your name… Godsgrief, The Storm Caller."
After storing away the blade, he realised that he started to sink into the water so he quickly jumped out of the pond.
He then summoned the Unique Magic Interface.
[Song of Ice and Fire Legacy magic:
Garth Greenhand: Fertility Magic
Durran The Godsgrief: Anti-Divinity, Anti-Elemental Magic]
"...Holy… this dude in his grief that his castles are getting destroyed invented magic powerful enough to show the middle finger to the Sea and Wind God Couple right in front of their domain."
He then realised that the blade he just got… is named Godsgrief… and it's made out of water and red runes… those red runes… are blood…
Did he use Elenei's blood to make a weapon? She was a Goddess turned mortal.
The sheer symbolism of the Goddess turned mortal in blood on the blade.
'Did that fucker make a Godslaying weapon?'
Raynor was shocked to understand what this meant. Holy…did he just get an Ace move against Gods?
The Anti-Divine Magic is flexible as well. He can channel it into weapons, and structures with proper blood magic support would become extremely potent weapons for a hunter.
After thinking about this he left the Secret area which was sealed behind him.
There was nothing there for him. He got what he wanted. So he can return to the upper levels.
~~~

After getting the Legacy Magic it was time to return to Highgarden.

There was nothing else for Raynor in Stormlands.

He already asked Willas to send the word to Highgarden that he needs a couple of ships as he will be going to Pentos.

Such…a random request made the Heir slightly baffled but regardless he followed and sent a letter to Highgarden in the meantime he proceeded to travel there as well.

Unlike before when he was with the army, it only took half the time to return to the Reach capital.

As Raynor returned to the Castle people were already waiting for him.

"Lord Raynor, congratulations on your victories! Maesters are already writing stories of the great battles you fought in Stormlands!"

Mace Tyrell praised the very land the Wolf King was walking which made everyone around there just roll their eyes.

"Yes well… it was an expected victory." Raynor didn't know how to handle someone so… empty-headed dunderhead.

"Of course! We are already preparing a banquet just for you!"

"Good to hear. Let's get inside."

As everyone was walking Margaery was quickly surrounded by her ladies in waiting. They wanted to know how it was to travel with the Wolf King. She was, after all, in a military campaign! The poor girls didn't know that the Golden Rose barely saw anything or that she cared to tell anything. As she was worried about certain issues.

"Girls follow me. We need to talk."

Oliana said from the side. She had a serious look.

While Mace and some other Tyrell Lords from cadet families were talking with Raynor. More like asking for interesting stories. And funny enough the Wolf King doesn't mind bragging. So he was occupied.

In the meantime a few halls away the ladies were doing their thing.

"I don't think it's a large issue, just give them a castle or a few villages… didn't Reach conquer Stormlands?" Margaery said with a sigh as she took her seat.

As she said that the Ladies in waiting, especially a fellow Brown haired girl with green eyes, looked quite ashamed. This was Elinor Tyrell, one of Margaery's cousins and one of the Ladies in waiting. Margaery's other girls were Alla Tyrell, another cousin of Margaery. Followed by a girl who joined in King's Landing, Mira Forrester, a Northern lady, quite a wild one, in bed that is. Followed by Lady Alice Graceford.

All of the girls were highborn ladies…Alice just like Elinor was promised to other Lords.

But unlike Alice's husband-to-be, Elinor Fiance has quite some backing.

"Possible, but they won't take that lightly that easily…Alysanne is a Hightower and her son is young and hotblooded."

"Then keep him away from Lord Raynor, I don't want him to slap him to death. I already saw how he punched a fully armoured Baratheon to death."

"..."

While Oliana and the older ladies were slightly terrified the younger girls were almost gushing about how THEIR Lord is extremely strong!

"I understand. I send my word to the Guards. And same time word to Willas. He should still be in Stormlands."

Oliana sighted. She was too hasty with this. Maybe she should have selected the girls instead of just offering the whole entourage…

Regardless, after they all talked about this everyone went to the banquet. Where the girls rushed to see and talk with Raynor. They were all interested to hear his exploits.

And of course, they can't wait for the evening!

"Hmm?"

"What is My Lord?"

"I think I heard someone struggling?" Raynor was slightly confused. Did someone try to scream but was muffled by something?

A brown-haired beauty alongside other girls surrounded him. They all had smiles on their faces. Taking away his attention.

"Don't worry about what others are doing. You are the main centrepiece of this banquet. Enjoy the food, the drinks, and the company~" Elinor said with a flirty tone. The girl was a greater version of Margaery when it comes to flirting. As this girl constantly flirts with him while the Golden Rose does it when it's needed.

Raynor was not aware that Tyrell's guards rushed in and apprehended Alyn Penrose who was about to challenge Raynor to a duel as he saw Elinor all over Raynor.

They would rather not clean up blood from the floor as they were sure that would be all there is left after Raynor would slap the fellow teen.

"Sure. Let's have some fun. I heard you girls are good at dancing. I need to practise this art."

"Of course~ Leave this to us~"

~~~
The next morning when Raynor woke up he was quite wasted…He drank most likely a whole barrel of Wine…he was sure that he had danced quite a bit before taking girls to his bed where he did things.
So when morning came he was buried under soft bodies.
This was medieval life at its peak… war, banquets to celebrate the war, then fucking until the sun goes up… oh, and dead drunk…
Yep.. life at its most primal…
"...They made me drink a ton…" He mumbled to himself before sneaking out of the bed.
After a quick dress up he went outside to remove whatever alcohol there is left in his body.
Around midday later, after refreshing exercises, he was ready for another ritual.
He walked to the Rebirth ritual site and filled up the wooden bowl with Eldric Baratheon's blood.
Unlike animal blood, this blood was that of a Goddess Descendant. Even the ritual site instead of purple particles had blue stormy ones rising from the water. There were small gusts of wind dancing just above the water.
"Beautiful…"
It was time to get more powerful!
