章節 118: Chapter 113: Her Descision!
Ichinose couldn't believe what she was hearing.
Her heart pounded in her chest as she struggled to maintain her composure. She searched for words, but fear had tightened its grip on her throat, rendering her speechless.
"Do you disagree?" he murmured.
"Yamamoto-kun..." she whispered, her voice trembling, "You say you set your own values, that only you can judge yourself. But what kind of life is that? A life without empathy, without connection to others? That's just..."
Ichinose hesitated.
Tatsuya's expression turned into one of amusement.
"Miserable? Is that what you want to say?" Tatsuya laughed, "Your kind of people are the funniest Ichinose. Do you know why?"
Ichinose didn't respond.
"It's because you like to assume about the lives of others. Who do you think you are to assume that I'm miserable right now? Did you know I've enjoyed my life the most in these past few 'miserable' months? Why do you think I don't have empathy and connections?"
Ichinose shook her head, her fear momentarily giving way to a flicker of anger. "No, Yamamoto-kun. Empathy is what makes us human."
"I thought you were smart, Ichinose." Tatsuya shook his head, "You're confusing empathy and compassion."
"I am an empathetic person, Ichinose but on the other hand you, you are a compassionate person. We're both different yet still human."
Ichinose frowned at his words.
"You're telling me you realise how I'm feeling when you assault me and yet continue to do it. How does that make sense?!"
Tatsuya was stunned.
He suddenly realised something. A soft smile involuntarily crept up his face as he got into the position of wanting another kiss.
Ichinose shivered.
"I think I realise now, you adorable little girl..." Tatsuya held her face and Ichinose clenched her fists in anger.
"I'm evil."
He softly kissed her and Ichinose closed her eyes, giving up. His lips twisted with hers and Tatsuya enjoyed the softness.
"But do you know? Despite being evil I'm working to save you all. I'm trying to save the world here and yet you're not grateful." Tatsuya clicked his tongue as Ichinose silently looked at him with anger.
"You're a lunatic..." She whispered and her breath hit Tatsuya's lips. That's how close they were.
"You're mine Ichinose, I'll take you today whether you like it or not." Despite knowing there was no way out Ichinose still felt despair creep into her.
Knock! Knock!
"Ichinose-chan! You there? You're not picking up your phone!" A sweet voice sounded from behind the door.
Before Ichinose could even react, a large hand clamped down on her mouth and she could only glare at Tatsuya.
This was her chance! She could escape!
"Are you really not there? I tried looking for you everywhere! Don't tell me you're sleeping Ichinose-chan! Shibata-kun is having another breakdown, we really need you there!"
Ichinose felt her heart drop. Tears involuntarily appeared in her eyes again yet Tatsuya's hold on her was too strong.
"That's Mako-chan right~?" Tatsuya suddenly whispered with a teasing voice and Ichinose stiffened.
A look of horror betrayed itself on her face. Intense anger followed, as if saying— 'Don't you dare touch her!'
"She's really pretty as well..." Tatsuya continued before groping Ichinose's soft thighs. He played with the bubbly flesh with his hands as Ichinose's muffled voice rang against his hand.
"Are you really not there!? Just where are you...?" Amikura's voice slowly faded away. Her dispirited tone made Ichinose feel sad.
"You're class is facing trouble right? I'll help you Ichinose."
"Don't make fun of me. I don't know what I was thinking when I talked with you this morning. How could you possibly fix anyone's nightmare? You're right, I'm really foolish."
Tatsuya took a step back and got off the bed. Ichinose finally got the chance to scream but for some reason, she hesitated after looking at the face Tatsuya was making.
"You said you were trying your luck out when you met me, isn't that right Ichinose?" Tatsuya reached his hand out towards her, "Fortunately for you, your luck has blossomed."
Ichinose stared at his outstretched hand incredulously.
"Take my hand, Ichinose." He said, "I can fix all your problems, I can make sure that everyone from Class B makes it to graduation."
The Devil stretched his hand out and the Angel silently looked at him.
"It's going to happen regardless of what you choose, Ichinose. I believe in you, just like Mako-chan does. You won't let your class down, will you? "
Ichinose's lips quivered as she lowered her head.
Who could even understand just how much pain her heart was in?
She looked up with teary eyes and yet the resolution in them made Tatsuya admire her. Yet, her helpless look only further aroused him.
Just earlier she was treating him with indifference and in a matter of a day or two she was now going to voluntarily offer herself to him.
Her soft fair hand stretched out and held Tatsuya's hand.
"I hate you."
Her voice was like honey and it melted Tatsuya's heart. He softly looked at her and imprinted her beauty into his mind.
"And I love you." Tatsuya smiled.
Ichinose's hand suddenly tightened and she bit her lower lip while glaring at Tatsuya.
"I really really hate you..."
Her silent whisper echoed in the room.
