"What happened here," Elizabeth croaked, her gaze as hard as a rock but the trembling of her hands gave her away.

Noah smiled a wide smile, looking absolutely laid-back and beautiful half-naked.

"Isn't it obvious, Betty?" He drawled in mischief, his eyes twinkling.

Elizabeth gulped, a shudder running down her spine. No way. There's no way that happened.

Her blue eyes watered in tears of denial and she pulled the sheets from underneath her feet to examine her lower region.

Noah watched her stunned. Elizabeth wouldn't normally cry over something like this, now would she?

Elizabeth examined herself carefully. There were no blood stains on the white sheets and she didn't feel any pain in her body aside from her pounding headache.

Biting her lip hard, she looked up at Noah and threw a pillow at him.

"You scoundrel!" She gritted out in a hard yet trembling voice.

Noah dodged the pillow where he sat, a chuckle escaping his mouth.
