As the helicopter carried them back to the base, an unsettling tension enveloped Dylan. His usual composure wavered, evident to both Ashley and Thomas, who exchanged concerned glances. In contrast, Josh seemed remarkably composed, while Kyle appeared visibly perplexed.

Amid this unease, Kyle voiced the question on everyone's mind.

"This Myra chick, were her powers always like that?" he asked, seeking some semblance of understanding.

Thomas, grappling with his own uncertainties, responded, "I'm not sure. All I know is that she was brought here because of her abilities."

Kyle persisted, probing deeper. "So they knew?" he questioned, attempting to unravel the mysteries surrounding Myra. Thomas, however, offered little insight, a subtle shrug leaving the query hanging in the air.
