Yan Fei arrived in Beijing and moved into a separate quadrangle courtyard located on the eastern side of the city.
This quadrangle courtyard had been purchased in the name of the Company by Lu Pingping exclusively for Yan Fei's residence in Beijing. After its purchase, the courtyard was appropriately rebuilt and renovated according to Lu Pingping's suggestions. Thus, when Yan Fei settled in, he found the interior design and furniture arrangement to be very much to his liking.
The quadrangle courtyard wasn't very large; it contained a row of wooden houses with a large tree at the center of the court, beneath which lay an ancient well, all surrounded by a tranquil and elegant environment. However, Lu Pingping did not reside in this quadrangle courtyard herself; she lived with other Company staff at Dream Island's Beijing office.
