" congratulations you are seven weeks pregnant the baby looks fine this is it " the doctor informed me tapping at the screen i smile looking at the picture
" am gonna be the best aunt ever i will spoil you " Emily said beside me she came with me since James was too busy to make it that's what he told me am mad at him he got a-lot to explain after
" do I need to print you a sonogram " the doctor asked me " yes please " I answered cleaning my stomach
" doctor when does she start showing " Emily asked I turn to the doctor

After the appointment with the doctor am supposed to come back next month we went home it's been a two weeks since mom is been discharged from the hospital my grandparents went back home promising that they will visit again it was emotional
" hey mom am pretty sure the doctor gave you a bed rest " i find my mom in the kitchen cooking when we got home
" I was bored standing a few minutes won't kill me I made your favorite spaghetti come I will serve you a plate " it past lunch but I didn't eat anything
" that's great I was actually hungry Emily said following mom to the kitchen " my mother gave us food we eat after talking a little and making sure that mom was sleeping I went out
" how are things between you and James" Emily asked me we were walking to the park I was craving an ice cream and Emily suggested we walk since the weather was nice
"Am sure something is going on but he doesn't want talk about it so I chose to let him be but he couldn't even make it to our first appointment " i replied Emily it's been a week since I last had a normal conversation with James when I call him he hung up on me and the last time I visited him at the apartment he told me he was too busy for a visit I was mad since then I haven't talked to him again I called him this morning to see if he would make it to the apartment but he was busy
" look I know something is up but I don't have the details of it all I know is that it has something to do with the company " Emily stops " but I have an idea " I turn look at her and she smiles at me
James's pov
I got out of the last meeting today making my way to the office " Jane pass all the calls but don't let anyone in the office " I told my secretary
" yes sir "
I sit on my chair turn around i can see the whole city below me since am on the last floor the company's building is the same height as the Empire State Building
"And you think we care because look Jane I like you but you are starting to piss me off " I heard Emily yell as she pushes the door open coming inside followed by Jane and Leila who is wearing a short tight leather skirt and a black T shirt tucked in I could see all her curves showing off I rock eyes with her
" am sorry sir I tried to stop them" Jane apologized breathing heavily from running quickly I think she was trying to stop them
" it's okay Jane you can go back to your desk" she turns around close the door behind her
" what are you doing here " i asked them Emily comes sit on the chair in front of my desk Leila still standing there observing around
Emily stand up went to the door removes the key and turns around " you need to talk I know something is up with you James mom called me yesterday to check on you since when does she do that " Emily asked me
" that's non of your damn business Emily " I told her annoyed " and Leila is my best friend I can't keep on to see her losing her mind because of you " we all turn to Leila who is looking between me and Emily saying nothing
" so am taking the key am rocking you both inside until you talk you won't get out"
" Emily my relationship with Leila is non of your business " I warned her not to do what she is thinking
" it's my business since you are starting to miss out on your responsibilities since when have you turned into this workaholic person Leila is pregnant with your child James stop neglecting that and talk she is losing her mind wondering what she did wrong and I know she did nothing you may be my brother but no body messes with my best friend you either fix this and talk it out or you don't get to see her again and don't joke with me James I can make it happen " she shouts at me daring me to answer I turn to Leila she is holding tears I can see that she is about to cry
" so the rules apply until Leila tells me that you talked you are both stack in here you will thank me later " and just like that she closes the door
I sigh rubbing my hands in my hair i look at Leila I love this woman but I don't know how am supposed to tell her what's going on I open my arms wide and call her " come here " i wait she just stares at me I know I've been ignoring her but it's because I just want to first take care of something but she was busy thinking that she did something wrong
" please come here babe don't make me come there for you " i called her again she just stares at me not moving after a few minutes still holding my arms open for her she walk towards me she sits on my laps buried her face in my neck and I wrap my arms around her holding her tight smelling her hair that's when I realized how much I missed her and am gonna do whatever it takes to keep her in my life
