"What's the matter with you?"

Cassie glanced up as someone spoke, and her eyes widened when she recognized the person. It was Orly, one of Theo Smith's loyal associates. He gave her a disapproving look, scanning her face and then the glass she was holding, which she had just placed on the table.

Cassie found herself in the kitchen of the Smith mansion, although she couldn't quite remember how she ended up there. Ever since her conversation with Theo earlier, her mind had been racing nonstop.

She tried to take a nap, but it was futile. The words he had said kept replaying in her head, leaving her even more agitated. That's why she stormed into the kitchen, hoping to find some solace. Luckily, she stumbled upon Orly.

"Hey, Orly!" Cassie greeted him with a forced smile, raising the glass in her hand and offering it to him. "I found this in one of the cabinets here. Care for a drink?"
