章節 15: Answers
"Starting up front, you miss." Professor Hilsen didn't even react to the 90+ students who shot their hands up at his question, quickly pointing to the young lady closest to his desk.
"How big are you?" the student blushed while others around her looked shocked.
"Starting off strong I see," Professor Hilsen chuckled and wooing a few students, "7.2, you there."
He quickly responded, making several ladies squeal in delight as he moved on to the next person.
"What subjects will we be learning?" another young lady stood up and asked.
"All of them!" He answered and pointed at the next student.
"How long are lectures and do we have classes on the weekends?" the male student nervously asked.
"Around 4 hours but it mostly depends on you guys. If you understand the material for that day you may get out early. If you don't you could be stuck here up until your evening class. Weekends are free."
He continued going down the rows answering questions quickly and accurately. It looked like he had done this countless times before even though he only seemed to be in his early 30s. He was a handsome and dignified, easily swaying some of the female, and even some male student's hearts as he eventually made his way towards Leon and his group.
"Can you explain the Partner system?" Someone eventually said.
"Good question!" He smiled and quickly moved to the board to draw some doodles.
"To put it simply, your partner is what the school deems to be your best match when it comes to physical compatibility. Through the surveys and multitude of tests you have completed prior to enrollment, as well as a few other things you are unaware of, they are able to accurately gauge who is an optimal physical partner for you within your own year.
"It is not full proof, of course, but it is quite accurate and ends up leading to many partners getting married after graduation, including myself."
Leon's eyes shot open at that. Did that mean his parents were partners? Would he and Selia end up in the same situation one day? It was yet more questions he would have to wait for an answer as he continued to listen to the professor. At least he knew now that Selia and himself were definitely compatible in some way, and that it wasn't just luck of the draw that brought them together.
"If for some reason you do not get along with your partner, let a faculty member know immediately so we can switch you around to find someone who will work well with you. While it might not sound pretty, I do not expect 50% of you to last until the end of the year."
Many students gasped and whispered worriedly but it was sure to be true. This was a difficult school just to get into and from Leon's knowledge, only a couple dozen students graduate each year. An extremely small pass rate for such a popular and prestigious place and yet the negative numbers don't deter people from still studying here, even if only for a few months.
"When that happens, you will be shuffled around again. If you end up losing a partner, don't fret because by then you will probably have formed good relations with most of the surviving students and as you move on to your 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years, and it doesn't really matter who you partner ends up being at that point. Next!"
"Were you at Orientation?" A young lady asked excitedly.
"Yes. I. Was!" He smirked and moved on, earning more squeals and a couple of groans from the guys.
"Another quick thing that I've already started to notice. Jealousy!" Professor Hilsen stopped the questions for a moment, "Undoubtedly when you put a group of horny teenagers/young adults together and send them off into the wild, clicks, harems and groups of all kinds will form, as well as territorial tendencies.
"It is unavoidable since at the end of the day, we are still animals. Some of you will get attached to people you have slept with and you will get possessive of people who sleep with others. What I say to that is: 'Control yourselves!' You are adults! Nobody owns nobody and you have no right to say otherwise.
"Well... unless it's a kink but you get what I mean," several students laughed as he moved on, "Orgies like what happened with orientation will happen more often than you think and you will come across times where you and another person both want to sleep with the same person.
"Instead of fighting it out, talk it out. Try to either take turns or better yet, team up. That's always more fun! If you still cannot figure things out, we do have something called a duel system where people can challenge each other in a duel and it can be of anything.
"If you do end up in a duel make sure you are respectful of one another and if you'd like to know more, I would advise going around and looking for the Coliseum fliers around campus to see when and where they meet. Be warned though, the students in the dueling club can be... mean, to put it nicely." He pointed to the next student.
"Can you explain what a Trial is?" a male student asked.
"All I can tell you is that they are similar to your Orientation, in that they are sudden and will challenge you in a desperate situation and they change it up every year so asking professors or older students about it will get you nowhere.
"You will get about 2 or 3 a year but that isn't set in stone either and failing any of them will result in expulsion. Next!"
Leon was a bit disappointed that he couldn't disclose any information on Trials, but they seemed to just be really big pop quizzes that would make or break your time here at Asmodeus. It was nerve-wracking but he would just have to remember to be prepared for anything.
"You said that we needed to be open about sex, are there special places for certain kinks and such?" A male student asked embarrassed.
"Yes, your dorms for one. But as long as you are in a building or area that allows it, like a club room, and you do not bother others, just about anywhere is available. You might even see some exhibitionists on your way out of here in the plaza. Just try to ignore them."
"D-Does social status matter here?" A timid female student asked hesitantly.
Her question quickly drew the attention of a lot of the room considering the majority of students who got in were undoubtedly wealthy and had gotten the very best education from a young age. Not to mention many who were famous or had really famous family members such as Selia.
Although he didn't see Selia doing it at all, there would definitely be some students even in this class who would try to throw their weight around, even after Professor Hilsen's warnings.
"Absolutely not!" His face was completely serious, "Mommy and Daddy's money and power have no sway over Asmodeus Academy so forget trying to use that to your advantage. This school is all about personal achievements. If you can't keep up then you should have studied harder and not flaunt your money and status all over the place.
"I, myself, come from a humble household and I am very proud of what I have been able to achieve through my blood, sweat, and tears and you students should do the same. Rely on your own strengths and not someone else."
A few students scoffed but quickly shut up when Professor Hilsen were able to spot them right away. Even if he was a kind and enthusiastic person, he was an intimidating man when angered and it seemed that there were a few things that ticked him off even as a professor, one of them being the unfairness that came with different social classes.
The professor moved on to the female student next in line and she stood up. Leon's eyes widened as he quickly recognized her and that striking silver hair as she asked her question.
"What kind of clubs are here and how many are we allowed to join?"
"Good question!" He walked back to his desk and pulled up the school website on his laptop and showing it up on the projector.
While navigating around he began to explain.
"There are hundreds of different clubs on campus and you can find just about anything you want, both Major related and 'for fun.' In those clubs you will get the chance to meet some of your upperclassmen and learn from them as well.
"And don't worry, just about every kink has been covered by this point. As for how many you can join? However many you think you can manage. Be aware though that if you join a club, you are a member and are required to complete member requirements assigned by the club.
"You can only drop a club during the first two weeks of a semester so make sure you are joining clubs you are really interested in. Many will allow you to come and try them out though so you can get a taste of how the clubs operate."
"Thank you professor." She sat down again and Leon's eyes lingered on her for a bit longer before he followed along with the rest of the students' questions.
"Hey, you were staring at her." Selia pouted and poked his side, "Do you know her?"
"We met yesterday but I don't know who she is." Leon whispered back and poked her back.
"Hmmmm?" She eyed him suspiciously and poked him one last time harder than the last.
Leon flinched and grabbed at her sides, making her flinch and the two giggled to themselves before focusing back on class.
