The group moved into their usual training routine, lifting weights, sparring, and going over some of their upcoming match strategies. Kofi and Sandro, as reigning tag team champions, were particularly focused, knowing they had some high-profile matches coming up. They pushed each other hard during training, always aiming to refine their moves and keep their momentum strong in the ring.

After several hours, drenched in sweat but feeling accomplished, Sandro took a seat on one of the benches, his notebook in hand. Kofi joined him, a towel draped around his neck as he gulped down some water.

Sandro wiped the sweat from his brow, still catching his breath from the intense training session. He flipped through his notebook, lost in thought, when Kofi, noticing his friend's serious demeanor, took a seat next to him.

"What do you get there in your hand, man?" Kofi said, nodding toward the notebook. "What's got you so deep in thought?"

Sandro glanced up with a smile. "I've been working on an idea for a while now. Something that could take us to the next level in FCW, not just as tag champs but as a dominant force in the company."

Kofi's curiosity was piqued, and he leaned in. "Alright, you've got my attention. What are you thinking?"

Sandro took a deep breath and began explaining. "I've been thinking about forming a faction, not just a tag team, but a unit that could really shake things up. I'm talking about bringing in someone who's on the rise, someone who has potential but needs that final push. We mentor them, work with them, and eventually, they go for the world title while we continue dominating the tag division."

Kofi's eyes lit up with excitement. "Man, that's a great idea! You're thinking long-term, not just for us but for FCW as a whole. So, who's the guy you've got in mind for this faction?"

"Taylor," Sandro said without hesitation. "He's been putting in the work, he's got the talent, and he's hungry for an opportunity. He just needs the right platform, and I think we can give it to him."

Kofi nodded thoughtfully. "Taylor's good. I've seen him in the ring, and he's got something. And with us backing him up, the fans would get behind him in no time. Have you talked to Steve and Dusty about this yet?"

Sandro shook his head. "Not yet. I wanted to wait for the right moment. Taylor's still building his experience, and I think once he's got a few more matches under his belt, we'll have a stronger case to present to them."

Kofi grinned, clearly excited by the idea. "Smart move. Let's give him some more time to shine, and when the moment's right, we pitch it. I'm all in on this, man. This could be huge for all of us."

The two of them shared a knowing look, the kind of silent agreement that signaled they were on the same page. They continued their training session, pushing each other to improve, knowing that every move they perfected in the gym would translate into even more dominance in the ring.

The next month flew by in a whirlwind of matches, promos, and intense preparation. As December arrived, it was clear that Sandro and Kofi were cementing their place as the top team in FCW.

Week after week, they took on and defeated every tag team that stepped up to challenge them, showcasing their unique moveset and unmatched chemistry. Sandro's promos continued to captivate the audience, his charisma and intensity drawing more fans to their side with each passing show.

Meanwhile, Taylor was steadily gaining experience, both in televised matches and house shows. His performances were improving, and it was clear to anyone paying attention that he had the potential to be something special.

Each time he stepped into the ring, he showed a little more of what he was capable of—his technical skills were sharp, his agility impressive, and he was starting to develop a connection with the crowd.

It was during one of these house shows that Sandro and Kofi decided the time was right to approach Steve and Dusty about the faction idea. After Taylor had just wrapped up another strong performance in a match against a mid-card veteran, Sandro and Kofi watched from the back, nodding in approval.

"He's ready," Sandro said quietly, turning to Kofi.

Kofi gave a firm nod. "Yeah, let's do this."

After the show, they made their way toward Dusty's office. As they walked through the backstage area, Sandro couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement. This was the moment he'd been waiting for—a chance to pitch the idea that had been brewing in his mind for weeks, a concept that could change the landscape of FCW.

They knocked on the door and were greeted by Dusty's familiar booming voice. "Come on in!"

Sandro and Kofi stepped into the office to find Dusty sitting behind his desk, Steve beside him, both of them going over notes from the night's matches.

"What's up, boys?" Dusty asked, leaning back in his chair. "Good show tonight. You two ready for next week's tag title defense?"

"Always," Kofi said with a smile. "But we're here for something else tonight."

Sandro stepped forward, taking a deep breath before speaking. "Dusty, Steve, we've got an idea we want to run by you. It's something we think could take the tag division—and FCW as a whole—to the next level."

Steve raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Alright, let's hear it."

Sandro glanced at Kofi before diving into the pitch. "We've been thinking about expanding our presence in FCW—not just as tag team champions but as part of something bigger. We want to form a faction, a group that dominates not just the tag division but the entire company. And we think Taylor is the guy to join us."

Dusty leaned forward, his interest clearly piqued. "Taylor, huh? That kid's been coming along pretty well."

"Exactly," Sandro continued. "He's young, he's got the talent, and the fans are starting to notice him. But he needs that final push, and we think we can be the ones to give it to him. The idea is that we mentor him, help him develop, and eventually, he goes for the world title while Kofi and I continue holding down the tag team division. It would elevate all of us—and give FCW a dominant faction that could be the centerpiece of the company."

Steve leaned back in his chair, nodding slowly. "It's an interesting idea. Factions have always been a big draw when done right. And Taylor's got a lot of potential. The question is, how do we build this up?"

Sandro had anticipated this question and was ready with a detailed plan. "We start slow. We've already had some interactions with Taylor on TV—helping him out when he's been in trouble. We keep building that, showing that there's a bond forming between us. Over the next few weeks, we work together in six-man tag matches or become managers to his singles match or he becomes our manager in our tag team match, building chemistry and letting the fans see the potential. Then, when the time's right, we make it official and announce ourselves as a faction."

Kofi chimed in, adding his thoughts. "It's about making it feel organic. The fans have to believe in it, and with the way Taylor's been performing lately, we think they'll get behind it. And once we're established as a faction, the sky's the limit. We could be the top act in FCW."

Dusty was silent for a moment, stroking his chin as he considered the idea. Finally, he looked up at Steve, who gave a small nod, signaling his approval.

"I like it," Dusty said, a grin spreading across his face. "It's got legs, and it gives us a new star to build up. Taylor's been on our radar for a while, and I think you two are the right guys to help him get to that next level."

Sandro and Kofi exchanged a triumphant glance, their excitement barely contained.

"Thanks, Dusty," Sandro said, feeling a wave of relief wash over him. "We won't let you down."

Dusty chuckled softly, leaning back in his chair, his eyes twinkling with that familiar spark of creative energy. "I know you won't let me down," he said, nodding at Sandro and Kofi. "But now that I'm thinking about it, we can kick this up a notch. Not just a faction—I'm talking about a full-blown war between two factions."

Sandro and Kofi, who had begun to stand, ready to leave the room after what they assumed was a successful pitch, paused mid-step, exchanging surprised glances.

Dusty's words had caught them off guard, and they quickly settled back into their seats. Even Steve, who had been quietly observing, raised an eyebrow, turning toward Dusty with a look of curiosity. "What do you mean by that?" Steve asked, leaning forward slightly, clearly intrigued.

Dusty grinned, clearly enjoying the suspense he'd created. "I'm talking about elevating this storyline even more. You see, we've got Taylor, a young star with potential, right? But every good story needs a rival, someone who pushes him to his limits. I've been thinking about pairing him with someone he just can't seem to beat. What if this rivalry becomes the centerpiece of the faction war? Sandro and Kofi take him under their wing, help him grow, and in doing so, they mentor him to finally overcome that rival. But here's the kicker—his rival has his own mentor. Not just any mentor, but Drew and Stu from The Empire which was your kayfabe rivals."

Sandro's eyes widened. Drew and Stu, his and Kofi's best friends, the imposing heel duo, former FCW tag team champions, and known their ruthless in-ring style and cunning tactics. The idea of setting up a faction war between him and Kofi against the two of them, with Taylor and his rival as the rising stars, immediately caught his attention.

Dusty continued, his excitement building as he explained his vision. "So, here's how I see it playing out. We've got Taylor, who's been struggling against this rival—let's call him Kyle for now. No matter how hard Taylor tries, he can't get the better of him. That's when you two step in, offer him guidance, mentor him, and show him the ropes. Over time, with your help, Taylor finally scores a win over Kyle. But then, we throw in a twist: Kyle isn't working alone. He's got mentors of his own—Drew and Stu, of The Empire."

Kofi was nodding now, already imagining the possibilities. "So, we're talking about two factions going at it, but with the added dynamic of us mentoring Taylor, and The Empire mentoring Kyle. It's not just a battle for titles or dominance in the company, it's about pride—apprentice pride."

"Exactly," Dusty said, his smile growing. "We build it around mentorship. The storyline isn't just about Taylor versus Kyle, it's about who has the better mentors. Sandro and Kofi, you two are the current tag champs, the veterans who have proven yourselves. Drew and Stu are the challengers, the ones who think they know better. We can set up 3-on-3 tag matches, where both the tag team titles and the pride of the apprentices are on the line. Whoever wins doesn't just get the belts, they prove their way of mentoring is the best."

Steve, who had been listening closely, now leaned back in his chair, clearly impressed by the depth of the concept. "That's... actually brilliant," he said, nodding his approval. "We're not just highlighting two teams, we're telling a multi-layered story with stakes that go beyond just wins and losses. This could really elevate both Taylor and Kyle."

Dusty wasn't done yet. "And the beauty of it is, we can let this storyline run for weeks even months. We start with Taylor's struggle against Kyle, and as he gets closer to beating him, we introduce you guys as his mentors. Slowly, we reveal The Empire's involvement, showing that they've been training Kyle behind the scenes. We build tension through backstage segments, promos, and encounters during other matches, leading to the big 3-on-3 showdowns."

Sandro, who had been absorbing all of this, felt a rush of excitement. This was bigger than anything he had anticipated when he first pitched the idea. Not only were they forming a faction, but they were now at the center of what could be one of the biggest storylines in FCW's recent history. "Dusty, this is genius," Sandro said, his voice filled with enthusiasm. "We could even add layers to the mentoring—have moments where Taylor doubts himself, or where we push him too hard. Maybe there's tension in our group that we have to resolve while The Empire is trying to manipulate Kyle."
