Knowing the peculiar nature of the butterflies on Naath, Bahamut had a plan in mind. These butterflies, due to their small wings and limited flying capabilities, mostly remained close to the ground and within the forest. They were not strong fliers and couldn't reach high altitudes.
Taking this into account, Bahamut decided to make a grand entrance. As he approached Naath Island, he soared high into the sky, climbing towards the mountain peaks. With a powerful roar, he reached the mountaintop. This monumental display made the people of Naath leap for joy, as their guardian had returned to them.
During his absence, not much had changed on Naath Island. As Bahamut returned, he used his telekinesis to gently lower the ship to the ground. He held the ship steady until Elia and her children disembarked, with the curious Naathi people gathering around to see the newcomers.
Elia was initially cautious about meeting these strangers, but seeing that Bahamut and his young dragons were relaxed and unguarded among the people, she began to feel more at ease. She attempted to communicate with the Naathi, even though she couldn't understand their language.
Bahamut, seeing Elia's confusion, explained to her that they were not allowed to leave the mountain. He warned them about a rare disease that was spread by unusual insects in the forest, which couldn't fly to high altitudes. This disease was a natural defense mechanism to protect the Naathi people from external threats.
Elia agreed to follow Bahamut's instructions and remain on the mountain. Bahamut then instructed the Naathi to build huts for Elia and her children and provide them with food, ensuring their safety on the island.
Rhaenys quickly became a beloved figure among the Naathi children, especially with the young dragons at her side. They treated her with tenderness and care, knowing she was brought to the island by their guardian. Rhaenys and Moon formed an inseparable bond, sharing fruits brought by the Naathi as a gesture of friendship even though Moon can't eat fruits. In return, Moon would bring fresh catches of fish and other wild creatures for Rhaenys to enjoy.
While Rhaenys spent her time with Moon, Elia found herself surrounded by curious Naathi girls eager to learn about the world beyond their island. Despite the language barrier, Elia was a fast learner and picked up the Naathi language, though not without some small mistakes. The exchange of knowledge and experiences brought a sense of unity between the newcomers and the Naathi people.
Elia, being cautious, occasionally approached Bahamut for conversation but remained careful not to provoke him accidentally. This cautiousness sometimes bored Bahamut. What Elia didn't know was that within the old, wise dragon was the heart of a 21-year-old youngster.
A pleasant surprise for Bahamut was Aegon, who displayed remarkable bravery for his young age. At just five years old, he always stayed close to Bahamut, eager to learn from the dragon. Seeing Aegon's enthusiasm, Androw decided to take on the role of a teacher, providing lessons to both Rhaenys and Aegon, as well as the children of Naath. The hilltop became a makeshift school for the children, where they learned and played together.
