章節 24: Kindergarten

Doctor Nakai skimmed through today's list of appointments and saw Hana's name. He couldn't help but furrow his brow, pondering where he might have seen this person before. It wasn't a matter of great concern, yet that nagging sensation, as if a memory was shrouded behind a veil, just on the cusp of surfacing but still elusive, was truly uncomfortable.

'Where and when have I seen this young woman before?' Doctor Nakai was still mulling over this question when his shift ended. Sometimes, it was the little things that can baffle one the most.

Arriving home with a contemplative expression, Doctor Nakai's wife stepped out of the kitchen and glanced at him, her curiosity piqued. "What's up? Did you run into some trouble at work today?"

Seeing his wife, Doctor Nakai smiled and replied, "No, it's just that I saw a patient who seemed very familiar, but I can't recall where I've seen her."

The woman, wearing an apron, asked with a smile, "A young woman?"
