In bed later that night, sleep eluded both of us and we were deep in thought. Uncle Marrok had locked himself in the chambers, and Lowe seemed lost at what to do about him. I listened as Ulysses explained to him the message from Prince Boris. His sad face was the outcome of the news.

“Are you f*cking kidding me? Randale is going to flip,” Lowe whispered.

“I know Uncle Marrok will handle it well. Randale is the person that will get hurt the most.” I threw my hands in the air.

“What are we going to do?” Lowe closed his eyes in frustration.

“We need to all be there when I tell him,” I stated.

“Agreed. But what about Queen Acedalia and Vuk?” Ulysses asked.

“I don't know anymore,” I snapped in anger.

“I feel your sentiments. But you need to be the one offering us guidance, Crown Prince,” Lowe asserted.

“On this matter, I am as clueless as all of you,” I drawled.
