PRINCE KLOUD’S POV

The summon from Pa came ten minutes later as Uncle Marrok knocked on the bedroom door. “Crown Prince, I apologize for disturbing you, but you have been summoned by the King.” 

We were entangled on the bed with Ulysses in a deep passionate kiss when his words reached us. 

“F*ck,” I cursed. 

“You need to go.” Ulysses smiled and brushed my messy hair away from my forehead. 

“I know but I would rather stay in bed with you,” I complained, and Ulysses chuckled. 

“You need to deal with Oclan Relic,” he reminded me. I nodded as we got out of bed. 

“I better change my clothes.” I rushed to the dressing room to change. It took less than five minutes and when I walked back into the room, Ulysses was seated by the window in deep thought. 

“A penny for your thoughts?” I stood by the door and asked.

He turned around and his eyes raked over me from head to toe. I watched as his Adam's apple bobbed as he swallowed hard. “Go. They are waiting for you.”
