"Nothing, I just want to hear your thought," Leon said. How could he tell her that the person who killed her father was his father.

"But what do you mean by mate?" Kayla asked with a curious expression.

"Umm, uh... It just a term I use," Leon lied.

Kayla gazed into Leon's eyes, "What should we do now?" she asked, a subtle smile playing on her lips.

Leon pondered for a moment, "What would you like to do?"

A thought crossed Kayla's mind, and she suggested, "How about buying a pet?"

Leon's curiosity piqued. "A pet? What kind?"

With a twinkle in her eye, Kayla responded, "A puppy. I've always wanted to own a pet."

The decision made, Leon proposed, "Okay, should we go now?"

An agreement sealed, and Kayla prepared to stand up. "Yeah, I should go and change."

Leon, however, interrupted her, "It's okay. You don't need to change. You already look great."
