The sound of hurried footsteps echoed in the room, and two men wearing black suits burst open the door.

"Are you okay, Ma'am Joann?" one of the associates asked.

"I'm alright," Joann said, standing up and holding her bruised neck. She looked at the surroundings with worry. Her office table and chairs were thrown towards the side, documents were also scattered. The floor-to-ceiling window is shattered with glass on the tiled ground.

"What happened?"

"Someone attacked me," Joann said while taking out her phone. "The Smoker."

Hearing this, the two were surprised.

He's here, and he did really come to me, Joann thought before dialing a number. After a couple of rings, the phone was answered.

"Find where Tarik Vesper goes and Eka, the masked Holder," Joann ordered without waiting for the other side to talk.

"Alright!"
