"Thanks." Manny took the can and thanked Ali. He looked at the sun, then his watch. "They have been inside for five hours."
The people outside the barricade visibly dwindled, probably because they went to eat. Those from the Association and the Government constantly monitor the fissure; they are alert for possible monster invasion and other peculiarities.
"By the way, how does a monster invasion happen?" Ali asked the 'scammer'. "Do they just pop out of a dungeon?"
Manny straightened his back and assumed the air of an intellectual. He observed the portal with a deep look and glanced at the student. "If left unattended or not conquered for a certain amount of time, depending on the rank of the dungeon, the monster inside will come out.
