My wife does not deserve to experience the stress that a selfish mom caused her son. I hugged her tightly and whispered sorry several times.

I wanted to give up, but I had my wife and my sister to keep me going. I was even motivated to fight thinking that my sister, Naya, even had worse experiences than me. 

"I may have the reason to question why all of this is happening to our family, but then, I realized that other people experience worse trials than these," I uttered. 

My wife looked at me and smiled. 

"You are right," she replied. "But, you can still have the chance to have the people behind these realize what they did. You've given your mom many chances, but she missed them all."

I nodded. My wife is right.
