In the Land of Bone, after Dean McKenzie had completed the eighth-turn trial, he immediately started preparing for the Ninth-turn Trial.
The first step was level advancement.
This was the easiest part. The Land of Bone was teeming with monsters. With just a mere thought, Dean could eradicate these beasts, enabling his level to rise.
However, Dean chose not to grind his levels within the Land of Bone.
He planned to venture into dungeons.
The rewards he had received during his last visit to the Goblin Dungeon were still fresh in his mind. With nothing better to do, Dean wanted to test if he could loot some dungeon rewards.
Such a strategy would not only allow him to level up but also bring in some additional rewards. If he could reap a reward that could double his attributes, won't that be a windfall?
However, reality proved that Dean was being overly optimistic.
