In order to deliver urgently needed supplies to the alchemists underground as quickly as possible, the Alchemy Cathedral designed multiple vertical shafts stretching downward on each floor.

These vertical shafts were rapid descent channels, equipped with metal chains, rapid descent ropes, fall arresters, traction devices, and lifting platforms.

People could go down the rapid descent channels, and so could supplies.

Now, Aberrations could too, and they are far more flexible than humans and supplies in doing so.

Deep in the third underground level of Sector 7, there is a vertical shaft with a diameter of over 20 meters.

The vertical shaft is located in an open underground space.
