Kayla's POV
Although the passing servants, upon seeing Harrison and me nestled in his embrace, instinctively lowered their heads, I still blushed uncontrollably. I kept praying for this journey to the bedroom to be shorter.
"Here we are."
As if hearing my thoughts, the next second, Harrison's voice, filled with a playful tone, echoed in my ears.
Harrison carried me into his bedroom, and within a split second of turning around, he kicked the bedroom door closed with his foot.
Observing my flushed face, Harrison teased, "You look like you're about to catch fire, sweetheart."
I shot Harrison a glare. "And whose fault is that?"
"Okay, my bad."
Harrison chuckled lightly, making a surrendering gesture. "I have an idea that might help you."
"What... Ah!"
Unexpectedly, Harrison lifted me again. But this time, he strode purposefully toward the direction of the bathroom.
"What are you trying to do... Harrison!"
