寫檢討I'm on chapter 80. This story contains a brain cell virus where the MC is very terrible with various plots here and there which are very forced. The copy paste in this novel makes it look like a Chinese story, even I saw some of the OCs were cliche arrogant young masters. Until this chapter 80, MC is still hiding his identity. I still don't understand why he was hiding, even though there weren't any threats like people chasing his life to kill him. And the crazy thing is that the Yakuza somehow worship him like a God, rubbish plot.
Indeed, there has been some similarity in business direction of the cn novel and this novel(like that both started arcade) but I can see that this novel's plot is different. And I don't really see that as copy since even Nintendo have arcade business, in fact, their arcade business came first than their famicom or NES. I also liked that the mc has a story background and not with a dull and perfect family that will follow all his will, that's simply wishful thinking. The characters isn't like the character that looked down on arcades too much even though it's not initially profitable. Unlike the characters at the cn novel this novel is inspired that looked down and doesn't even believe the arcade business will not go well even though super mario bros is generally an interesting and noble idea and game in that year, this novel characters saw the opportunity of the arcades, and wanted to take profit from it. Except for the arrogant and dumb son of the general manager of Ikeburo, that initially scoffed at the potential of tthe arcade machines of the mc's, the characters reacted fine. But the son of general manager also came to know his mistakes even though he denied it, he's not too arrogant and too dumb even though he's still dumb though, for making a competent employee to resign. It's not cringe face slapping as you may expected it, read it for yourself. The writing is good as well. Probably with the help of an AI, but who isn't using AI now in this platform? Even royalroad authors used AI. This is probably the only way for an independent author without editor so I'm not complaining. It's great even. World background, the world is parallel world 1990. That lacked video games with the exception of Pong and Tetris. The mc will recreate his previous life's games into his new world. Character design. The mc was named Math Algebra... Who would name their child that? Probably only Elon Musk will name someone that... While making the name into a code like encryption. He transmigrated into Shinro Suzuki. Now he has a new and normal Japanese name. Shin was born into a wealthy family. And his father is quite strict. Well, some parts of Asia, there is always a strict parents. Mira the FL, probably inspired from that cn novel this novel is inspired from, was a young woman, first year in computer engineering. Her personality is kind of like Chinese girls, kind of a tsundere and supporting of the mc, but hey, Asians, especially in Japan, Korea or chinese girls have that kind of personality with them. Anime girls that is tsundere, or the person that doesn't want to admit her feelings. So it's not about in race, it's about that most girls is like that. Doesn't want to say their true feelings. Basically, they're hard to understand. Updating stability was great.
揭示劇透This is translation right? Because if not, this is literally a copy paste of a Chinese novel. And tour excuse how it will become diferent from the original is pretty trash, you should simple not copy paste from the begining
It's good, I don't particularly care thats its inspired from or even largely copied from another novel. That novel has below MTL level grammar and is generally unreadable, so the author is effectively giving us way better content.
The writing is so confusing, and the names of the characters all feel like chatGPT generated. The dialogue is stale and one dimensional, it feels like NPC lines except disjointed and translated. The "antagonist(s)" are like wildly cartoon-ish, their literal dialogue would be along the lines of "I'm upset and mad Grr." A word of caution, read with your brain turned off less you find plot holes and grammar mistakes.
揭示劇透It's very stale tbh. kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Binged around 150 Chaps all night before stopping. It was very good at first but then the plot becomes repetitive and the pacing became too fast which robbed that good experience I felt in the early chaps. If I have if honest I truly enjoyed the so called 'filler' slife of life chapters you stopped making after a certain point, its gives depth to the character and could have been another plot point to avoid the repetitiveness of the business side. Like you could have explored Mira's life in college and how her relationship with the mc impacted her life there. The reactions of the classmates? How did the treatment of her change when he donated a sum of money to the school? Perhaps you can have some male student attempt to 'flirt' her and how she rejects it and then follwed by the mc showing him that she is his. There is a lot of aspects in his relationship with not only with Mira but also her parents, her sister, his sisters, and etc. There's a lot of plotpoint that could have been explored. These things had a lot of potential that would give depth to your characters. Making them more relatable and easy to sympathize with. But we barely get any of it and then at certain point completely stopped it.There also the problem where you repeatedly told a scene instead of showing it. Like they said "Show not Tell". You did it right with the buying of the marriage ring. You showed us, instead of just saying "He bought an elegant ring" and leave it at that.I believe it was a bad move when you stopped making the so called 'filler' slice-of-slife chaps after the marriage chapter. Those where the things that I enjoyed and helped avoid the reptitiveness of the business side. So much potential but was not explored.Hope this helps you improve author. I geniunely enjoyed reading this book.
quite nice I haven't read the original where author took inspiration from my brain was already fried after 5 chapters 😅 mind u I don't read trash translation on webnovel but that was something else anyway it's quiet good I mean author is proving better translation better storyline and most importantly it's free 😉 what more can u ask so go ahead give it try u would be hooked [img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend]and keep up the good work author
The story is quite good and the writing quality is also not bad.The only downside is that whenever the MC introduces a new game, anime or movie 2 to 3 chapters just go into introduction of game or anime or movie. Its like watching a written gameplay or written anime and movie,Because of that you would be compelled to skip quite a few chapters because those chapters have only dialogues of anime or movie.
I like the novel. I have seen the Chinese novel on which it is based, although it was a good novel, the stale Chinese vision of how the world "works" was quite noticeable. This novel, on the other hand, does not have those problems, which, IN MY OPINION, makes it better. Although it is also true that it is weak in some parts, If anyone has seen the novel "This is not a Galgame", they will have seen how it at least tries to innovate in the method of plot advancement. First of all, when trying to bring video games from future times, sometimes you are filled with optimism and the game fails because it fails to adapt to the fashions of that time. Secondly, he usually takes his time in developing the different stages of video games, he is currently entering 3D games and it is clear that he knows the subject and the limitations. Third is that it gives a lot of prominence to the developers and shows how the same game can change depending on who makes it. This novel is good and on the right track, but I hope it doesn't fail in the same ways as the novel on which it is based. Don't rush from generation to generation and from console to console, in a hurry because in the end you will miss some cool games that came out. Furthermore, I would like it to also make its own games, bring together talented people and create games that never existed in our reality. Let it not simply be the character saying what they have to do and the rest of the employees obeying without giving an opinion. Create a company like Capcom in the beginning, PopCap games or Valve.
The framework of the novel is that of translated novel author has added his things but still I don't think it will be much good as the original is trash for me.
the mc is passive from the beginning, and the only thing that driving his success is plot armor, the mc character and personality is barely passable, it is getting boring.
Please continue this story *)[img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update]
I binge the whole story in three days. about 400 chapters, and I can say for certain that this is one of my favorite rags to riches fic, the fact that the writing is immersing and engaging. nothing is boring, and while I'd love to have a more depth or quantity of chapters regarding the impact of specific games/technologies, I could understand that you'd want to have a faster pace.
so many info dump and no mc progress low character/story development so pls author almost chapter that i read are about the experience of the costumer

An intriguing premise that ultimately falls short of delivering something truly remarkable. Frankly, it seems to me that the author is afraid to write their own story, as evidenced by spending four chapters merely choosing a ring. Every decision appears to be the one that requires the least effort. All the games that have been released feel more like a rehash of a documentary about games, rather than an attempt by the author to achieve anything substantial. The protagonist, despite having been a game developer in their past life, only uses this knowledge to recreate what would have been done during that same era. Don't get me wrong, the idea of using classic IPs like Mario and Final Fantasy is fantastic, but why not combine this with modern game development knowledge to create even better games? Why limit oneself to ideas from that era alone? I recall seeing a fan recreate Bloodborne for the PSX and pondering what it would have been like if the game had been released back then, and what possibilities that could have brought. Imagine Hollow Knight on a 16-bit console, the same for Undertale. Author, if I may shamelessly make a request, please allow yourself to truly create something remarkable in this story, rather than producing yet another bland offering reminiscent of Qidian, with the only distinguishing feature being Japanese names.
