Land of Hot Water.
In between two huge mountains was a rough path, on it marched a group consisting of around 10 people.
They were all moving forward at a quick speed, all of them had muscular builds and majority of them were dark skinned.
Though what common was the forehead protector with clouds patterned, clearly explaining this squad was from land of lightning.
Forefront of the squad were two people running side by side, one man and one women.
The man had grey hair and had a sword fixed in a red flame patterned sheath, the woman had blonde hair and was donned in black, a blue claw mark drawn on the back of the attire.
The squad was moving forward without any sign of stopping, the path leading them straight to land of frost that bordered land of lightning.
But the squad seemed unaware of the people keeping an eye on them from the top of the mountain on the right.
"No doubt anymore, the news was correct!"
Said Torifu, lowering the telescope in his hands to gaze at Kagami right to him, Naoki and others gathered around.
"Then act according to the plan and remember, our mission is to grab the ore and bring it back to the village, the moment we grab it, everyone start retreating!"
"Yes Sensei!"
Swish!!
Reminded Kagami as Naoki, Tsunade and the rest all nodded and immediately spread around.
Huh?
All the members of the cloud squad frowned suddenly, the women with blonde hair first to do so, followed by the man with grey hair and then the rest.
Clink!
"An earthquake?"
The squad that was running forward had halted suddenly, all of them feeling the ground shaking somewhat, the woman with blonde hair muttering.
Thud!
But the squad focus was quickly shifted to the right, as a small pebble from the huge mountain on the right landed next to them.
All of them at the same time gazed at the huge mountain, the eyes of the blonde woman widening, her lips parting.
Watch Out!!!!!!
Booom!!!
Yelled the woman at the top of her lungs, but her scream overshadowed by a bang next moment, even seemed to have been heard kilometres away.
The top of the mountain on the right was suddenly blown away, dust and fire could be seen clearly on the top of the mountain.
But the cloud squad had no time to gaze at that, small, medium, huge rocks from the mountain sliding down, a massive landslide causes by the the sudden explosion.
Ahhh!!!
Earth Style!!! Great Earth Wall!
Lightning Style! Thunder Dragon Jutsu!!
Lightning Style! Lightning Blade!!!
Zzzzzzz!!!!
The scale the landslide covered was too big for even a ninja to run and avoid, with no choice all of them with a mad face unleashing every jutsu at the approaching rock.
Roar!!!
The earth wall rose from the ground, the blue lightning dragon roared and crashed into the endless amount of rubble, the lightning blade cutting every piece of rock like butter it could.
The landslide lasted for more than 5 minutes, the dust covering everything in an area of a kilometre, the fire from the explosion at the top of the mountain seemed to have invited dark clouds as well.
Right at the base of the mountain, a large area had turned into a pothole with dust still lingering around, not much visibility.
Swish!!
At the edge of the pothole shadows flashed as Kagami, Torifu, Naoki and the co appeared.
"Damn!!! It was so scary, thankfully I didn't get caught in it!"
Said Jiraiya in a lingering tone, eyes full of fear on the massive pothole before him, created due to the execution of the plan.
Through the intelligence from the spy, they knew the exact route cloud squad was taking so they arrived here quicker then them, laying an ambush, planting hundreds of explosives tags on the mountain.
The collective explosion easily caused the landslide like they had planned, but he was so stunned by the miraculous sight that he nearly forgot to move away from the dangerous position on the mountain earlier, nearly getting caught.
"Only an idiot like you would get caught in the trap set by himself!"
"Exactly!"
Orochimaru who prefers to stay quiet mostly couldn't help but comment at his foolish behaviour, Tsunade with an annoyed face agreeing.
"Okay! Don't let your guard down, they won't go down so easily!"
Reminded Torifu, his eyes stuck on the dust that made it impossible to see much, on alert like something would pop out next second.
Roar!!!!
And the reminder of Torifu wasn't false, a soul shaking growl sounding, in the dust a huge fuzzy figure visible with blue flames flickering around it.
Zzzzzz!!!
The sound of thunder cutting through the air also was mixed in it, blue lightning approaching them at high speed.
