Beth's POV
A long sword suddenly fell beside me, and I felt that someone was looking at me. I raised my head and saw Damon, who was staring at me without a word.
"Why are you here? Get out!" He lied to me! How dare he show up in front of me again?
"I want you to hear me out." Damon did not dodge. Instead, he looked at me seriously. I did not buy it. He was a demon. I remembered exactly what Arc reminded me of, but I calmed down and wanted to hear what he had to say.
Damon shrugged, sat by the bed, and fiddled with his hair innocently.
"I meant no harm. You summoned me by drawing the magic array, and I did want to help you. Believe me, I have a solution to Aaron's curse..."
He knew about the curse. I restrained my expression, trying not to give myself away. I didn't want Damon to find out anything from me.
