George cleared his throat and straightened in his seat. "He was beyond surprised to learn that their aunt was involved. But he was even mor surprised to learn that it was Peggy who had told her aunt about Evelyn. He seemed very upset but he sent me on my way with a small bundle of gems and coins. He knows that she is better off here than if he she was to stay with him."

Clyde nodded his head in understanding he had to agree that she was better off with him than if he was to leave her with her father. "I trust that everything will go smoothly while she is here," he said as he looked around the small group. 

"I will help her set up the nursery for the plants," Micah said. "I believe that she will be able to set up the runes herself, but I will be there to aid her."

"George will show you out back to where you can set it up. If you need anything at all, let me know," Clyde said.
