"You might as well come in," Micah called out from his seat by the fire. 

Clyde entered the small cottage and took a seat opposite him. "How is she doing?" He asked.

"I wouldn't know," Micah replied disinterestedly.

Clyde snarled "what do you mean?" He asked. 

"I gave her some books to read. It will be up to her to decide if she is able to learn runes. It is not an easy feat or else you would not have used your favor to bring me here."

Clyde sighed, "you are the only one that I know who can possibly teach her," he said.

"I can teach her but it will not matter if she cannot learn."

"Why would you say that she would not be able to learn? She is a natural at enchantments and I can show you some of her work if you do not believe me," Clyde suggested. 

"It is not that I do not believe you," Micah replied. "It will all come down to her."
