章節 80: Isaha's Escape

"Where are you from, child?" Mirium asked Isaha. He had calmed down from the shock of things and was sitting quietly by her side.

"I do no know," he replied. "We live in a small village full of shifters, it was suppose to be safe," he whispered.

"Are you from Eastondrone?" Mirium asked. It was the only other village that was made up of shifters outside of Duke Arthur Gauthier's dutchy. 

"Yes," he sniffled. "That sounds right."

"What were you doing all by yourself?" She asked.

"I was in the woods looking for flowers. My mother is a healer and she needed some more flowers so I went to look for them," Isaha said.

"You must be very brave to go in to the woods by yourself," Mirium said. 

"I was," Isaha whispered. "But I did not know the bad men would come. We had heard about others disappearing, but that was in other places."

"I am sorry this has happened to you, child."
