The past weeks have been busy for me. Apparently my father had great things planned for me.

At first he was on the notion that he wanted a different path for me but on the other hand he must have thought of it and saw that his empire had to continue for the foreseeable future.

It's something that was built by our ancestors and he saw to it that there's no reason for it to end. Especially since it has always been doing well. Except for some little hiccups which is normal for a syndicate. Nothing can always be a hundred percent perfect.

So, he finally decided to put his one and only heir into small, small actions. And by one and only heir, I mean me.

Even if my father would have gone on with his notion of wanting a different path for me, I would have never agreed to it. Because I have always felt that this is in my blood and one day I'll be head when my father finally retires.
