It might sound like I'm doing this for my own selfish reasons or because Maria is extremely attractive, but that is not the case here.

Well, maybe part of it.

I'm just concerned about her and I can't help it even if I try to ignore the facts. Maria truly needs someone and I just happen to be that someone who's available for now.

Obviously she can't go to anyone else in this mansion.

First, she was sad after our talk with Amanda and I watched her barely eat dinner. She just mouthed a few spoons that if I was attentive enough, I wouldn't count anything more than five or six or seven.

And then when she went to bed she still had the same sadness written all over her face.

I had to hesitantly leave her to sleep at least. Maybe sleeping could help her calm down and I assumed she would feel better when she wakes up in the morning.
