Two of the fates vanished away and only one remained, the middle one. She teleported down and approached Lythia so that they could have the rest of the candid conversation in simple words. 

"It cannot be changed, Shadow. Return to your world and accept the way things will be."

For a few more seconds, Lythia just stared at the goddess of fate as she imagined the kind of fury their brother, the god of death was going to experience. Everything that was coming to light lately was just driving him to the brink of raging. 

When he raged, humans died, and that was never a good thing. Fate was determined to have the child, but death would not let it be. It would be a slap to his face, an insult if ever there was any. His possessiveness would not allow him to see a child of the dark anywhere else.

Lythia was therefor driven to find a plan B.
