Cole walked over to a bookshelf filled with various books and then to a large window providing a stunning view of a garden outside.
"This can't be real," he whispered.
"Oh, it's real," the first guard chuckled. "Just remember, you're still a prisoner."
Cole turned to see an en-suite bathroom with modern amenities, including a hot shower and a marble sink.
"This is a stark contrast to the hellhole I was in before," he said, shaking his head.
"Don't get too comfortable."
"I won't." Cole sighed.
The handcuffs were removed, and he walked into the room, gazing around in amazement.
As he sat on the comfortable sofa beside the bookshelf, feeling the soft cushions sink beneath him, he was startled by a handsome face that appeared at a barred window between the prison cells.
