章節 29: Store Preparations

The days had settled back into their familiar rhythm as Seraphyne delved deeper into her goals of opening a store inside Bloodmoon pack's residence. Zephyir had nothing to say but give his full support. He also mentioned to the pack members never to speak of the true name of the Luna.

He fears that something will truly happen to them if those in Seraphyne's vision know of her whereabouts.

Seraphyne, on the other hand, worked tirelessly inside her soul space. Here, time flowed differently, a languid river compared to the rapid torrent of the world outside. Seraphyne harnessed this temporal advantage to toil with a strong will, reaping the fruits of her labor the past few months.

Her endeavors inside the soul space had yielded a bountiful harvest, and now, she embarked on the meticulous task of processing her gains. Glistening processing machines, transported from the heart of Aguzan city, whirred to life. They hummed purposefully, eagerly assisting her in transforming nature's gifts into culinary delights.

In her cozy kitchenette within this ethereal realm, the shelves and cupboards groaned under the weight of her accomplishments. Seraphyne's foresight had prevailed, and she had amassed an impressive array of naturally preserved foods. The storage became a treasure trove of flavors and textures.

Rows of glass jars held an assortment of pickled vegetables, each jar a vivid mosaic of colors. Crisp cucumbers and plump tomatoes shared space with vibrant peppers and earthy beets.

Fruits danced in their own crystalline containers, suspended in a sweet syrupy suspension. The colors, shapes, and aromas in this bizarre haven appeared almost unbelievable.

But it wasn't just the vegetables and fruits that graced her storage.

Seraphyne's culinary expertise extended beyond the garden's bounty.

Her culinary prowess manifested in the form of marinated meats, each piece a work of art. Fish, delicate and tender, had been caressed by citrusy marinades, while chicken pieces gleamed with savory herbs and spices. The rich aroma of perfectly marinated pork teased the senses. If it's a dream, you'd never want to wake up.

Seraphyne's plan was clear as she meticulously arranged her preserved treasures.

"Readying for the grand opening of the store was no small feat," she spoke to herself.

It was a colossal undertaking that demanded Seraphyne's undivided attention.

'With the renovation complete, I can finally push my plans!'

She knew that today was dedicated to a different aspect of her enterprise—the careful arrangement of her well-curated stock. But there was one rule she adhered to, 'No one must ever discover my extraordinary ability to manipulate objects at will.'

Silently, like a guardian of her secret world, Seraphyne made her way to the still-closed store.

The familiar sound of keys jingling and locks clicking filled the air as she unlocked the door and ventured inside.

As the door swung open, she couldn't help but be taken aback by the vastness of her shop after the final designs were added to the place.

"This shop is massive!" she exclaimed, her voice echoing through the spacious interior.

The store had been divided into two distinct sections.

There were three floors inside the building, and the dimensions of the building itself covered two thousand square meters.

The first floor she had allocated for the convenience of grocery shopping, a place where people could stock up on essentials. The second floor was intended to host a restaurant, and Seraphyne knew she'd need to assemble a team of chefs and servers to bring her culinary vision to life. It was here that she planned to delight her patrons with delectable meals prepared with the utmost care.

The final floor, the pinnacle of her ambitious endeavor, was dedicated to entertainment. It was divided into chambers. The outer chamber served as a cozy cafe where people could unwind with a cup of steaming coffee and a good book. The inner chamber, though, was a treasure trove of knowledge and technology—a library and a computer shop, both blending seamlessly into one another.

Seraphyne glanced around, feeling a sense of satisfaction, knowing that the floors had been cleaned to perfection after the renovation. All that remained now was the delicate art of placing her carefully selected materials in their designated spaces.

She began to pile books onto the library shelves with a focused mind. The selection spanned genres and eras, offering a literary journey through time and imagination.

Alongside the ancient wisdom captured in those pages, she had also ordered the most advanced computers from abroad, each a sleek marvel of technology. These devices would serve a dual purpose: not only to cater to the tech-savvy patrons but also to provide an essential lifeline to the pack should the chaos of global warming escalate.

Seraphyne knew that in an ever-changing world, information was power, and her foresight in securing these advanced computers was a stepping stone to her commitment to protecting her pack.

"Husband, could you help me with the recruitment of pack members?" she called Zephyir through his phone number.

"How many do you want?"

"Twenty people, is that okay?"

"No problem!"

In the following week, Seraphyne embarked on the mission of training a new batch of five kitchen chefs eager to impart her culinary expertise to a fresh generation of talents. She knew that the key to a successful restaurant lay in the skill and dedication of its kitchen staff, and she was determined to ensure that her team met her exacting standards.

Gathering her aspiring chefs in the well-appointed kitchen of her newly opened establishment, Seraphyne wasted no time in setting the tone for their culinary journey. Her voice carried an air of authority, seasoned with a hint of excitement, as she began their culinary adventure.

"The first dish you will learn from me," Seraphyne announced with a gleam in her eye, "is the exquisite Beef Marrow Stew."

Her words prompted a chorus of intrigued expressions from the budding chefs, each eager to soak up the wisdom of their mentor.

Chef Aiden, a young and enthusiastic member of the group, couldn't contain his curiosity. "Beef Marrow Stew, Luna? That sounds both intriguing and delicious. What makes it special?"

Seraphyne nodded, appreciating the curiosity of her apprentice. "Ah, Beef Marrow Stew is a classic dish that combines the richness of beef marrow with a medley of savory vegetables and aromatic spices. It's a symphony of flavors and textures that has been passed down through generations."

Chef Isabella, a seasoned cook with a penchant for culinary history, chimed in, "I've heard that Beef Marrow Stew has a long and storied history. Like ancient beings from the Dragon tribe eat meat and stew it very deliciously. Is there a particular tradition or origin you'd like to share with us, Luna?"

Seraphyne smiled, pleased with interest in culinary heritage. "Indeed, Isabella. This dish has roots in various cuisines, but today, we'll embrace a fusion of flavors that I've developed over the years. Our version will marry the rich tradition of the Celestial Elixir Feast with a hint of Drakonfire Delights influence, creating a harmony of tastes that's unique to our restaurant."

As the conversation unfolded, Seraphyne began the process of cooking Beef Marrow Stew, walking her apprentices through each step with meticulous detail.
