I ran into the house as Demyan let out a desperate cry as he pressed his hand on his stomach. His face was buried in my chest as his tears wet the material of my thin shirt. 

The last time when Belli was born, I simply got a call from my surrogate telling me she was in labour. I simply rushed to the hospital and waited until Belli was brought to me in a pink blanket as she cried. The anxiety of it was different when I did not see what was going on but this time I felt like a deer caught in headlights. 

"Pa! Pa! Dad! Malia!" I called out. Dad and Pa came from the living room whilst Lucas and Stefano came running down the stairs. As soon as they saw Demyan they knew what it meant and Stefano being the good doctor he was immediately commanded we go straight to the hospital.
